Great shirt shrank even when hung to dry.
The shirt was originally comfortable, fit well and had an attractive pattern. After washing in cool/warm water and hanging to dry, the shirt shrank about 2” in the sleeve length (and overall). It was a really great fit prior to washing, but it is no longer wearable. Unfortunately, what appeared to be a nice shirt will have to be returned - I am sad. Highly unusual for a Patagonia shirt.
I like the thicker flannel fabric and the cut, but the removal of the classic additional cuff buttons (like those on the lightweight and midweight fjord for tightening) stops me from buying more of these. I hope Patagonia realizes that cutting corners is not an option for their products. I'd like to see these two handy buttons coming back before purchasing more.
Comfortable Fit; Luxurious Flannel!
I tried this shirt model two years ago and found the sleeves too narrow for my comfort. Saw the new 2024 navy colorway on a mannequin in the Gainesville store, liked it and decided to try out this year's model. Pleasantly surprised that it was a nice natural fit, neither too trim nor too boxy. The weight of the flannel is a nice medium; and it's very obviously a high quality, organic fiber. This particular colorway is very attractive, not quite as "dark" as it appears here on line; making it somewhat more "joyful" in my opinion. I can definitely see myself getting a 2nd one, towards the holidays; or asking Santa for one. I highly recommend this top quality flannel shirt from Patagucci.
Fits really short
Washed it and it turned into a small real quick. It is a really short shirt that I won’t wear again. If I wear a normal t-shirt under it they stick out about 2 inches. Otherwise the fabric feels really soft and nice. Really wish it fit well.
Good, then shrunk on first wash
I followed the instructions, but it shrunk a full size when washed. Based on the price point, very disappointing.
Favorite flannel buy size up
Incredibly comfy and high quality. I’m an athletic somewhat muscular 5’11 210 lbs and normally between a Large and XL. Went with the XL due to reviews about shrinking. Had I got the XL. Definitely shrinks. Somewhat thick flannel and super soft. Has turned into my favorite flannel and I’m a flannel-snob.
No extra cuff buttons
The cuff is too large and slides onto my hands. There is only one button and not two like it should. Returned. Too bad because I liked the overall fit

My husband loves this flannel shirt. It’s a nice mid-weight for fall and winter wear, and the colors are very vibrant. He hangs to dry because some other reviews mentioned shrinking, but so far it still looks like it’s in great condition and feels like excellent quality.
