I have owned many tents including 4 person tents. I have had Eurekas, Marmots, Big Agnes, REIs, TNF's. This tent is easy to set up, roomy, well constructed, and seems to do a good job in poor conditions. It is NOT an expedition or 4-season tent, but it isagreat car camping or river-trip tent. One feature I like is that it has solid walls except for the very top which is screening. The tents with screen sides can sift A LOT of fine dirt when it iswindy and dusty. Another great feature is the large tent bag that is like a double burrito bag--plenty big and holds the whole thing. Maybe the best tent bag that I have ever seen. Overall it is probably the best 4-person tent for easy camping and car camping, for the money.
I bought this tent last year after doing lots of research. I like it. I was looking for something I could standup in, yet assemble by myself. At 5 ft, it works. It's a little difficult to hook the fly at the dome cross bar, but it stays erect. The lime color is great when inside on a rainy day. I spent a rainy weekend and it was very water proof. The tent poles look slightly bent but that is to accommodate their need for flexibility. It is super fast to set up. I like the carrying case. The only complaint is the zipper seems to be very taunt and you have to be careful zipping and unzipping. I'm very happy with it.
I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it once camping in a state park campground. It was very easy to setup and has sturdy large diameter poles (seems like they won't break easy). We had a little drizzle and everything stayed dry. My only complaint is that the color shows dirt very easily.
