Inaccurate weight
Inaccurate weight! I bought this based off of good reviews mixed with its listed weight. The weight is listed for its specs is 4.9oz. Actual weight is 8.1oz! Sorry but for ounce/gram counters that is a deal breaker of nearly a 1/4lb difference! At that weight it's going back.

resilient

I bought this for use under my stormbreak 2 tent. It has been used in groomed tent sites along the Blue Ridge Parkway, where they make you set-up in established platforms, all of which are hard-packed gravel or cinder. This thing takes it all and while I am not rough on it by any means, it doesn't show any signs of wear other than the usual dirt. I have never used the tent without it, so I don't know if it contributes to keeping things dry, but I have been huddled inside in torrential down pours and stayed bone dry inside.

Protects the tent from the conditions underneath

I camped a couple of times before purchasing the footprint and the bottom of the tent was wet. The footprint protects the tent from getting moist and from the elements.

It stood up a huge storm

In my first use we faced a huge storm in south Florida (remainings of dissipated tropical storm) and it hung for wind and pouring rain. Not a drop of water inside. I would strongly recommend buying this tent if you are not into patching and workarounds to keep dry.

The best tent and footprint

I already use one time with my 16 yrs old son . We went to mountain bike on off road site . Tent is very good for rough camping . Wind proof and water proof . Can trust and peace of mind .

Worth the costs

This footprint works great for the Stormbreak tent. It keeps the moisture away from the floor of the tent as well as protecting the it. Pros: Lightweight, durable, good quality Cons: None

Great for the tent, Bad for the wallet

I am very happy with the footprint design. I love that it fits perfectly and secured to the tent poles with the grommets. I am glad I bought it but really can’t believe it was $45. This should not be cost so much. In the end I would buy it again and feel the same way.

Great for easy packing and protection!

The material used is easy to store and does a good job protecting the tent from the ground. I even used it to sleep on the ground with just my sleeping bag on many occasions.
