Standard Rechargeable Batteries

After testing various batteries, the Eneloop Pro's (Panasonic) are the best I've found for standard AA or AAA. The Eneloop Pros's 1) have a higher MaH capacity and 2) hold a charge for longer than the Goal Zero's.

they recharge ! lol

They made them 1.2 volts. I wish they would of made 1.5 volts. Other then that we have to wait and see if they outlast the other 3 brands of triple a batteries I use on a daily bases. The price is higher then energizer and other rechargeable brands. I'm not a fan of that when I can't pick them up in a store around the corner. They should lower the price to encourage the support of the product. Sorry goal zero. Probably my last pack I'll buy for you till then.

they just don’t work

I bought them for my boyfriend’s Black Diamond headlamp and they didn’t work the moment we pulled them out of the package. I have no idea why. We charged them on the charger they suggested we use, despite them saying they were precharged, and they still didn’t work. I plan on returning them

I just wanted the AAA insert.

I bought the Nomad 3.5 from REI. The sales man told me it will charge AAA battery's. Got it home and it didn't. So I go back to REI and another sales man told me you can get a free insert online. Well I had to buy 4 AAA battery's to get the insert. and If the sales man would have told me about the model that charged in 3 hours instead of 6 or 8 I would have bought that one. Other than that I like the product and haven't had any problems with it.

Tough and Long Lasting

Bought two sets to replace the two sets that I've been using for the last five years in my head lamps. The old sets are just now starting to drain faster than usual, with less time in between charges. I used these GZ AAA rechargeables through dozens of camping trips, backpacking trips, and walking the dogs every night. These batteries are just phenomenal.

Great batteries and a charger

I love my rechargeable batteries. I’ve had a collection of goal zero gear for a while now and I am very happy. The only thing that I am bummed out about, is that I can’t purchase the Guide 12 by itself. I don’t want or need a solar panel. I have the Guide 10 and just want to upgrade! Anyways, thank you for having awesome products!

Very High Capacity

I tested these on a MAHA MH-C9000 charger/analyzer and their capacity is better than advertised. In a moderate drain application such as a headlamp or flashlight on medium setting, their measured capacity was around 880 mah. This is 10% greater than advertised and all 4 batteries had measured capacities within 2% of each other.

Great product, but.......

Love the Guide 10 and AAA insert, but take note of the AAA output, it doesn't put out enough power to charge a smart phone, i.e. iPhone 5s. But the AAAs will still be handy for headlamps, flashlights, etc. The AAs with the Guide 10 charge the smart phones just fine, nice product.

Love my rechargeable batteries

I use the batteries for my wireless keyboard and track bar, they last a reasonable time in device which i just trade out with charged ones and reuse charge the ones replaced. Very easy and small enough to take with you. Saving the planet in small ways!
