REI Branded Gear Isn't What It Use To Be
I've noticed a marked decrease in the quality of REI branded gear. This is a footprint, it's pretty simple, but they can't even make that right. The webbing is not color coded, it's all the same color and the tent is not square so neither is the footprint. It'll be a simple fix on my part to mark the webbing but if you can't pay attention to the details of production in something as simple as a footprint, how much more when things get complicated. I'll be watching the tent I purchased with this footprint with a wary eye - the slightest anomaly and it's going back.
works but not great
the rivets are too long compared to where the tent poles end and come loose constantly. Works great otherwise.
Works well with tent
Must have. Keeps your tent bottom dry, thus you dry. One layer of foot print is adequate.
It's a footprint. Get it.
What's to say....it fits the tent of course and we had zero issues with it. The tent needs a footprint.
Doesn't fit 'correctly'
The sides with the cross pole hole tabs are sewn on the short sides of the footprint instead of the long sides. Simple manufacturing defect, but it needs to be corrected.
