Cute pre-schooler pack

Our daughter is 4 and has graduated to a Schmusebar – it’s cute, easy to load and has two snap buckles and a drawstring to close it. Ali can load it and close it by herself; it holds books, Ipad, all her pre-school kit, clothes etc. The side has two mesh pockets which handle kid’s water bottles well, keeping any wet or sticky fluids out of the main pack. It also has an outside zip pocket for smaller items. Ali is 39” tall, and the pack fits her well – it has a chest buckle to keep it on so they can even dash around with it on. My wife can easily wear the pack when Ali gets tired, and if I loosen the straps all the way I can wear it also (I’m 5’10”). Fun little kids pack! Turn it inside out, hose it down and it’s clean again.

wonderful pak

First, I am a mom of three young children. I am very picky about products holding up to normal daily wear and tear! This backpack was purchased for K3 as my son was very specific about the color he wanted. He loves the clips and the chest strap. He has a lot of pride in doing it himself right now. The backpack has held up perfectly to 6 months of daily school wear and appears to have enough life for K4 and K5. It holds a folder, his lunch box, water bottle, and Lovie. I cannot say enough good things about this pack.

Don't be underwhelmed. This is a legit pack

We bought this for our son when he was 4. He's 8 now and he still hasn't outgrown it. It doesn't work well for school (large books, lunchbox, etc), but when we travel or hike it's a great size for him. And we can cram a lot of stuff into it. Rain shell, snacks, waterbottle, his art stuff, change of clothes hat. We've tromped around Europe and it's his day bag, with everything he needs while we are out. For road trips, everything he needs in the car to stay entertained fits in this seemingly little bag.

Perfect for 2.5yo

We bought this pack for our 2.5yo who is on the smaller side (25lbs, 33"). This backpack fits her great, although she needs to have the chest strap fastened or the shoulder straps will fall off. We put just her water and a snack in it but she likes having her own bag when we're hiking. We also plan to use it for her airplane carry-on for some upcoming travel and hopefully someday for her school bag. Sadly ours did not come with the teddy bear.

Ideal for young children

This is a very high quality backpack, easy to use and sturdy. It allows young children (preschool to probably age 7 or 8) to hike with independence, to carry their own supplies. And the little bear that comes with it is adorable!

Good bag

The bag is a great quality, perfect size for my 4 year old. The price was a little high for such a small bag, but it's a great bag nonetheless.

Great for my 6-yr old girl

Only downside is that you have to buy a water pouch separate. Other than that, good value/good price.

Backpacker in Training

We bought this pack for our 2 year old to take backpacking. She LOVES it. She insists on taking it every time we hike. On day hikes she carries her stash of snacks, but on backpacking trips it carries her clothes and lovey. When it gets too heavy for her, it’s easy enough to clip onto our packs. They’ve updated the shoulder straps since we’ve purchased it, that’s why we have it a 4. She is now 3, and it still has years of use to come.

Great little pack

Great kids pack. Bought for a 3 year old. He’s now 5 so it’s held up well for a couple years. I’ve even worn it when he pooped out during a hike- not super comfortable for an adult plus sized woman, but honestly I’ve worn worse. Webbing has held up, straps are a bit loose, but that’s ok for a kid pack. Decent room for price & size. Overall happy!
