Warm and stylish
I love the colors, very complementary to many outfits. It's very warm and blocks the wind. I love all things wool. I'm not sure why it's considered a man's hat though. My only complaint is the inconsistent sizing. Supposedly OSFA but I had to try on everyone because they were all so different. Most had too much room on the crown but I finally found one that worked for me. Other than than quality is top notch. Love it.
Pistil Fergus quality as always
I got my first Pistil Fergus hat 2 or 3 years ago. I'm pretty picky when it comes to just about anything because not too many articles of outdoor wear stand the test of time and I'm pretty rough between the work that I do and the type of person that I am. The Fergus hat out performs any of my other hats that I've had and if you ask me, it does so with a little class. I'm outdoors in extreme weather for many hours at a time and my head and ears are never cold. These hats fit so well that my ears, forehead and back of my neck are covered with a tight fit so there is no loose fabric giving me a bit of a fitted look which is a cleaner look than excess fabric flopping around. The "headband" fleece lining inside of the hat is a perfect windbreaker while the top of the hat is breathable wool that wicks away sweat and helps me maintain a constant comfortably dry temperature. Aside from work....they just look good. I have 6 different Pistil Fergus and 1 Pistil Asher color variations and I can't help but buy a couple every year to add to what is now becoming my collection. For the record, I'm the kind of guy that believes in function over form and I've become loyal to this line because it has proven to me that it is worth it.

Love this hat. Upon removing from package, the boucle-like knit on the hat give the colors a sandy quality and you just know it comes from Italy - great quality and style. My 6 month old puppy loved it so much, she took a nice bite out of it; Thankfully, I was able to order another one.
Warm hat for a big head
This hat fit nice since I have a larger than average head and is much warmer than other hats I've had. Good to wear around town or in the field.
