Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed: Thin & Pills easily I wanted a replacement 3-in-1 jacket for my daughter, to replace the Northface one she's outgrown. For the $160, the Columbia Bugaboo jacket is not up to standard. The fleece liner pills up too easily when i had to pick off wood chips that clung to the fleece like velcro. The Northface fleece liner is of better material. The Bugaboo was tested in mid60 degrees outdoor weather (Nov2015) and my daughter noted the jacket did not keep her warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful coat The coat was purchased for my daughter to wear to school but also to ski. She claims it is very warm. She gets compliments on the color. She loves it, & she can be a great critic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bugaboo jacket This jacket is absolutely perfect for snowy weather. I bought it for snow boarding in colorado and it worked out great. I would recommend this jacket to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ski jacket - runs big Bought this for my 8 year old last year and it fit well. She is now 9 and the jacket still fits without any adjustments. Size XS (6-7). Bought a new one this year for my 6 year old (size XS) and it's much too big. Sleeves are 2-3 inches too long. So, I would buy down a size and then use the adjustments to extend sleeves in future years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat My daughter loves this coat, it is warm and very cute. Coincidentally, two of our friends daughter's also have it, it is a very popular coat at the Middle School.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, but not for really cold winter I bought this jacket for my 6 year old daughter to go skiing. It's a nice jacket for that purpose and she likes it. The only caution I would add is that this wouldn't provide sufficient warmth if it's really cold. The inner fleece liner is of medium weight.

Do you have any ski pants that will match this jacket?

The girls' Columbia Bugaboo Snow Pants are a fine choice. https://www.rei.com/product/886536/columbia-bugaboo-snow-pants-girls

Is this jacket warmer than the colombia alpine pink jacket for girl the one that is 44.83 right now? It seems like even though this one is more expensive that the alpine is actually warmer for winter.

Asked by: shull
The two jackets are very close. We would have to say that the Bugaboo Interchangeable 3-in-1 Jacket would be the warmer and more versatile option. The removable fleece liner jacket will provide more insulation.
