Good Quantity for the Price

This was the first calk I ever used. It's a great price for the amount you get but after trying other brands I've noticed that White Gold doesn't stay on my hands as long. I found that with other brands I've needed to chalk up less on any given route. My hands seemed to loose the coating and get sweaty after just three or four moves. With that said, it's a great deal for the quantity you get and I would recommend it to someone who is a new or casual climber, doesn't feel the need or what to spend the money on other more expensive brands.

An addicts best friend

This is the finest magnesium, uncut and pure. When you have the itch and your palms get sweaty, A quick dip into your stash will keep you focused and get you higher on the wall then you’ve ever been.

It's chalk!

It's chalk - there is a large amount, it's cheap. I personally prefer uncut because it's less messy to get in the chalk bag and I can keep some chunks to rub. Also, this does not COVER your hands, clothes, and everything else nearby - I get a light dusting and leave less marks behind.

Better than the "Good Stuff"

Chalk feel is personal preference but I feel that my hands are drier/readier to go when I use the white gold. I got Friction Labs Gorilla Chunky chalk as a gift recently and my hands feel kind of slippery right when i chalk up, even though afterwards they dry well ... For the price though, White Gold has the highest performance:value. Love it, and bought some more even though I havent run out of friction labs ...for reference I have sweatier hands than average id day and definitely feel the need to use Rhino Dry during the warmer seasons

Not half as good as FrictionLabs

It’s worth every penny to upgrade to FrictionLabs chalk in my opinion. The difference is immediately noticeable just to the touch, and you also notice it on the wall. I used BlackDiamond chalk for a while until I forgot my chalk one day at the gym and my friend let me use his. As soon as my hand touched his chalk I felt a difference. I haven’t looked back since that day.

Good for price, gets the job done.

Decent amino and quality of chalk for the price. Has a mixture chunks and powder. Depending on how your chalk bag is set up. You may want to playaround with how much chunk/powder ratio you want in your personal chalk bag. The chalk does it’s job and drys targeted and specific location as needed. Very appropriate for newcomers to get a baseline of how they want they’re chalk. In my opinion, it is easier to apply with chunky chalk first and save powder for the rest of the ascent or bouldering sessions.

Bad for writing on blackboards, great for hands

Does a great job of keeping your hands from flop-sweating halfway up that on-site attempt. Some of the bigger chunks need a few punches to break down, but this stuff is great!
