Lezyne Alloy Floor Drive Pump
This product is not available. Good news: we have a newer version.
With a max psi capability of 220psi, the Lezyne Alloy Floor Drive pump can quickly and easily reach your optimum tire pressure, all with great looks and durable CNC-machined aluminum construction.
Shop newer version- High-polish, CNC-machined aluminum barrel and base combine with the steel piston and varnished wood handle for easy, high-pressure pumping power
- 43 in. extra-long rubber hose makes it easy to inflate tires, even if your bike is still on the stand
- Flip-Thread chuck threads directly onto Presta or Schrader valves for a secure, air-tight connection
- Air bleed system cleverly eliminates chance of unthreading removable Presta valves; also lets you adjust tire pressure when inflating via Schrader valves
- Large, floor-level 2.5 in. gauge is easy to view and is integrated into the stable, 3-leg base
- Lezyne Alloy Floor Drive pump has a maximum inflation pressure of 220psi (15bar)

Easy to use, solid design
I like the security of screwing the hose to the valve. It works great on both presta and schrader valve. When using on presta valve the pressure inside hose has to be higher than tire pressure to open up the valve, letting the air in. That kinda confused me when I first used it, as the gauge showed 100+ psi on first stroke of the pump. Remember to depressurize the hose before unscrewing it from the valve.
Doubts about support in the long run
This pump is good looking, almost an objet d'art. But after dealing with Lezyne customer service, I returned it. The air chuck, the part that connects to the tire valve, is finicky. The chuck that came with my pump was defective. I called Lezyne and asked to speak with customer service and was told "He's off today." It's one guy? I reached the sole customer service rep a few days later, and he assured me that he would send another air chuck out. It didn't arrive after a week, so I called again, and it had not shipped. Finally they sent it and it arrived within a week from California. I have two other floor pumps, 30 and 40 years old. I can still get parts for them. After dealing with Lezyne directly, I have doubts about its ability to stand behind its products over time. One other note: this is a high-volume pump, moving a lot of air through a tall, oversized barrel. It does inflate faster than a smaller pump, but it is commensurately harder to pump.
GREAT FLOOR PUMP!!!
This Lezyne Floor Air Pump is Great! I love the way the hose valve screws onto the tire valve. I love the accurate gauge. I love the aluminum look and the long hose. I unscrewed the pump handle and slid a clear plastic sleeve over the pump body and another over the handle. This created a hard to scratch/ding protective cover and customized my Lezyne Floor Pump. The quality is unsurpassed. I enjoyed airing up my bike tires. This Lezyne beat my old Blackburn by far. I'm very happy with this purchased.
I like this pump but.....
I read everyones reviews, and perhaps it is just that I am having some issues with this pump. First, I will piggyback on all the pros. This looks like it is well engineered. It does pump easy and fast. Here is the issue I am having. I attached the angle head for using on my prestas, and it just doesn't grab securely. I try twisting it to make sure it seats, but no sooner do I start to get presure into the tire than the guage starts to display a leak (decreasing pressure). It isn't until I manually hold the head in place with one hand and pump with the other, that I get results. Fortunately it isn't difficult to do. Second issue, is more than occasionally, the plastic threaded cap pops off when I disengage the head from the valve stem. Each time I have been lucky to still have the rubber gasket in my hand. Now I am very careful and push the head off the stem, instead of pulling it off. If anyone has suggestions, I have an open ear.
Slip on Valve Design Doesn't Work
I felt like I had written some of the reviews below. I bought this pump as it looked like a really nicely engineered pump when I was looking at it in the store. I put the angle head on and when I try to pump up my tires the head just blows off the valve every time. I tried using the non-angle head and threading it onto the presta valve but then when you unscrew it the valve core comes out! Ridiculous. Get a pump that has a lock level. this design just doesn't work. Very disappointed. Will be buying a different pump and I guess this will be collecting dust.
Best floor pump I ever owned.
I really like the hose and head. It works well with presta tubes
Best full size floor pump I've owned!
This pump is easy to use, and I really appreciate the screw on feature-- after popping the lever style pump heads off of multiple valve stems, I find this to be reliable and very accurate. The gauge is right on, and I find it just as easy to pump my mountain bike tires to 60psi as my road bike tires to 100psi. I highly recommend this pump!
The way all pumps should be made
Silky smooth in operation. Pumping past 120 psi is as effortless as it gets. Gauge is easy to read. Nice long and flexible hose. The hose end screws onto your presta stem rather than using the typical friction fit. The screw fitting is much easier on stems and tubes and should prolong tube life. I've had mine close to two years with it showing no signs of wear. Finally, this thing is beautiful. I keep in in my livingroom next to the front door.
best of show
Anyone using this tool immediately recognizes its superiority. Stable base, flexible hose that stores securely, unbreakable handle and precision compression, plus a readable accurate gauge makes this the ultimate floor pump. It has almost completely replaced my 40-year-old Silca, which is high praise. Two caveats: 1 - you have to actually pay attention to the gauge. There's little tactile feedback to warn you against overpressurization, nor will the pump head pop off the valve stem. In other words, this is such a good pump you could blow up your tires with surprisingly little effort in surprisingly few strokes. "Blow up" as in explode. Don't guess; watch the gauge. 2 - machined aluminum is Lezyne's forte; they do it extremely well. The secret here is perfect machining creating a perfect sliding seal with the plunger. Aluminum tubing dents easily, though, and tall thin structures get knocked over in a shop, so you're faced with a dilemma: expose the work of art to view, exposing the tool's utility to debilitating bumps, or obviate aesthetics in the interest of durability. I enclosed the aluminum tube in foam pipe insulation wrapped with an inner tube like bar tape. I haven't tried the steel version but had it been available I'd have bought that instead. It's painted instead of polished and presumably works as well, though it costs considerably less. I'd still protect it but with less regret. As far as I can tell, everything from Lezyne is the best-made version of whatever it is. They seem to only bother making what they can markedly improve. (I have 3 of their pumps and a couple of tools, each made the way I would make it if I knew how.)
Great pump -
Highly recommend this pump. Easy to use and read. I followed the advice of another reviewer and covered the tube in pipe insulation to protect the tube (made of aluminium) from dings or dents. I love the pump and I am very happy with my purchase.
