Great product, but some minor problems
I bought this set in October 2012 and have used it several times while camping. We love it. There have been a couple minor issues, though. The first time we used the fry pan over our whisper lite stove, the pan warped. We still can use it, but not for eggs or pancakes. After several uses, our plates have started to warp. We can still use them, but I think we might need to replace them soon. Other than that, the set is great. The cups are awesome. You can take them apart and use the outer layer of the mug to hold food items- like chopped onions or shredded cheese. It packs together nicely.

Fell apart
After light use, the washing bag basically disintegrated. It's currently held together with duct tape and functions only as a carrying case for the rest of the dishes. Very disappointing for such an expensive product. If we could return it, we would.

About as good as it gets

Getting this cookset completely elevated my camping experience. Before getting the pinnacle cookset my cooking was limited to boiling water and cooking directly over a campfire. As campfires were severely limited in the summer, having something I could cook on a propane fire made all the difference. This cookset was the perfect size to cook for my wife and I as we traveled on the road. The nonstick made it easy to cook and easy to clean without having a whole cooking kitchen setup. The size is also convenient as it stacks and organizes neatly. The only issue with quality I experienced with the quality of this set was the frying pan warped, slightly elevating the middle of the pan. This occurred only after a few uses but causes almost no effect to its function. If you're looking for a slid cookset while conserving space I would look no further than the Pinnacle Cookset.

Works for us.

For a family of four this is good. The different colored plates and cups makes it easy for everyone to know who has which one. We have used the pots and pans on our little two burner fold up gas stove. We haven't experienced warping like some have said. My daughter accidentally had the burner with the frying pan turn up all the way. Still no warping, but the pancakes were burnt to a crisp. The non stick works good. Since we have a two burner stove it would have been nice to have a second handle, but it comes off and connects fairly easy enough. Also, it would have been nice to have some eating utensils included. Over all, I'm glad we got it.

Superb design, function, performanxe

Just completed camping trip w/ family of 5. Cooked gourmet meals on cookware - perfect combo of 2 lg pots + frypan + plenty of bowls, plates and cups. Nonstick surfaces made cleanup a breeze. Mug coozies and sip lids kept my kids from burning themselves. The sink / bag is perhaps the best feature of all. Very light weight for what it is, though obviously far from a minimalist setup. But still, can buy a separate small / minimalist kit and grab an extra pot or pan from this set as needed; or reconfigure this set based on group size (e.g. shed a pot, on or plate set). Overall: great design and great value for money.

Fantastic Product!

I have several GSI Pinnacle products and love them all. My son (a boy scout) has the same set and one pot has only one minor scratch after four years. So far the new set shows every indication of lasting for many years like the other GSI Pinnacle products I have. The bugaboo procuts we own have not held up as well as the Pinnacle, so go ahead and spend the extra money, you won't regret it. The great non-stick makes cleanup a breeze.

space saving cookware

I purchased this item for overlanding, and I must say this really makes having everything in one spot. For the longest time we have to contend with our cookware and plates banging out in the back of the car, then worrying about how much space it all took up. this item really make it easy to keep it all in one spot and make little noise while off roading. now the negative I found was that there was only 1 handle attachment but you can buy an extra one at REI.

Nice/Complete but not the lightest.

Got this as a gift off my wishlist and it is a great addition to our car camping gear but might not make it into my backpack due to its weight. Set is complete the lids seal nicely and protect the finish when packed. The strainer in the lid is useful and there is plenty of storage on the inside of at least three of the bowls/cups for spices, matches and extra gear the fold-able handle takes up one and it would be nice to have two of these. The case which doubles as a sink/water carrying device is nice also

A superb cook set

We bought this for our motorcycling camp trips. It's light weight plus its small size makes it easy to carry in the storage bin (Harley Ultra Classic). Plus, you don't have to take the entire kit if you don't want or need to, and you can store stuff in the cups, like the camp stove, matches, batteries, etc. Very durable, and dependable. I really like that it is so self contained. You can wash dishes, carry water, just no end to its functionality. I highly recommend this kit.

Great Family Cookset

We used this on a canoe camping trip. We are a family of 4. It was convenient having everything in the pack. But if we were going to carry these backpacking we would divide it between packs. Or leave a pot behind. A little heavy for one person to carry. Has a little too much cookware for just a family of 4 unless you are really cooking several things. Since we usually make 1 pot dishes it was over kill. But we let other people in the camp borrow the extra pot and pan for their food. It would be great where weight does not matter. And if you are really cooking alot of food. Loved the fact that it had four of everything. Minus utensils. Also loved the nonstick coating. Nothing stuck.
