Aptly named
I was experiencing a lot of pain from an older Terry saddle when commuting only 15 minutes to work. I made up my mind to buy a good all-around saddle with a cut-out to relieve pressure on soft tissue. Seeing good reviews on Terry's women's saddles, I decided to try this one out. I have only used it for commuting so far, but I plan to take it on longer rides this summer. I no longer cringe when approaching cracks in the road and actually look forward to biking to work. Riding on this saddle has truly liberated me! (I can't attest to the durability of the saddle since I have only owned it for a few weeks.)
Amazing touring saddle
This summer we took our first tour, a six-day self-supported ride in the Canadian Rockies and this saddle was amazing. The best part about this saddle is that once I put it on my bike I never thought about it again (prior I had tried several different saddles)! I have road and hybrid bikes and overwhelmingly believe this to the most comfortable saddle for longer rides or even commuting. I rode it all summer and did not encounter any chafing, etc. It is good because this is the first review I ever felt compelled to write. FYI, I am 5'5 and 125 lbs.
Better than most
Bought this to replace my stock seat on mountain bike. I ride roads with my mountain bike - 30 miles a night. This seat took care of my numbness issues with my stock seat. I did have to tilt the seat down in the front for maximum comfort and I still get saddle sore after about 25 miles....maybe not quite wide enough for me across the sit bones?? I've had the seat for nearly a month and it has held up well. I might try a seat that is a bit wider in back...but I still would recommend.
Terrific saddle, but too narrow for me
If this were just about 1 inch wider, it would be perfect for me. Bummer, because it is a great saddle with just the right amount of padding where you need it, and nothing where you really don't want anything.
Love this product
I fell in love with this saddle the 1st time I used it. It is very comfortable and the width is just right. I would recommend this saddle and I would definately buy this one again.
