Disappointed

Loved my old Rossignol boots, but they wore out. Received these as a Christmas gift and took them out for a 5k run on partially groomed trails. The boot is very loose in the heel which decreased control. The boot tightens nicely on the rest of the foot, but the lacing design seems to be missing a loop that would tighten the ankle. My heel lifted a few inches with every stride (very annoying). The "free-hinge cuff with velcro powerstrap" is flimsy and difficult to tighten completely. By the end of the run, I had a blister. On the plus size, the boot is warm.

Wam and Comfortable boot

Got this boot for warmth and additional support for off trail skiing and it has delivered. They are light and warm and good for skiing out in fields and trails. Initially seemed tight, but adjusts to foot.
