Enables you to park your car at hiking trailheads
Very easy to use and intuitive. You scratch off the month and day that you are planning to use it. The scratch off portion comes off easy with a simple coin or somewhat sharp metal object. I used the back of my utility knife to scratch off so that it doesn’t damage the paper underneath. It’s kinda like the same thickness of a regular lottery ticket scratcher. After you scratch off the month and day, you can hook it up on your rear view mirror with a pre cut hole and it fits perfectly. If you use a windshield shade, make sure that it sits on the outside of it so that the rangers can see it. Better safe than sorry, I’m sure there is a big fine if you don’t have one.. The only bad thing of this product is that it is one time use, once you scratch it, you can’t use it again. But then again, you knew that from the beginning.

Dates already scratched off on arrival
I purchased two day passes, and both arrived with the month of August scratched off. It clearly states on the bottom that the dates aren’t to be scratched off until you arrive at your destination. Now I’m obligated to use both of them this month.

Makes parking in Angeles forest a breeze

So I spent months researching adventure passes and eventually concluded REI has the best adventure passes. Not only was it competitively priced but it gave me a reason to visit my local REI. DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!

What I needed

I was looking for a Senior Adventure Pass, and was having a hard time getting it. I went to the Cleveland Local Office, and it was closed to COVID19. I was doing a hike the next week. I went to the REI web site and notice a Day Adventure Pass, that was all that I really needed, ordered and got in the mail in a few days. Went on my hike the next week, great experience, and great to have the Adventure Pass, REI made it easy. TKS

LA National Forset

This is an amazing and convenient way of getting day/monthly passes. I just wish it came with a guide or map of the trails with it.

Grateful to REI for having these available. Ridiculous that it can’t be purchased online.
