Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well balanced light weight I broke my wrist mountain biking and needed a very light weight paddle. This paddle fits the bill. It is light weight enough that paddling does not bother my wrist at all. It is the paddle that makes the biggest difference in kayaking. Not the boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good, solid, lightweight paddle I've paddled many miles with this. Pushed off of sand bars, through narrow muddy banks, through windfalls, slush, and ice. It fits very well on the side of my Loon 138. It floats. It's light. It has five feathering angles. Good power stroke, good maneuverability. Not especially fantastic in any of those but GREAT overall utility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight durable recreational paddle Good compromise of durability and light weight. Uses recycled aerospace grade carbon fiber in blades allowing lighter weight per Boeing Frontiers article in Seattle Times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Paddle I got this paddle as my first "expensive" paddle. I'm very happy with the quality. It just feels good in my hands. The precise feather adjustment works great and doesn't wobble at all. The blades are great for paddling in the wind with their low profile. And most important it's still like new after a few seasons!

I want to use a kayak paddle with my Old Town Pack solo canoe, needing at least 240 cm length. Elsewhere in your paddle stock Q&A you suggested a Manta Ray (goes only to 230 cm). Was that because it is designed for high angle? How about Werner Sgagit CF?

Asked by: WisconsinJoe
The Werner Skagit CF IM Kayak Paddle will work fine re-purposed as a canoe paddle.

I'm 5"11 and am purchasing a 2017 Ascend 12T sit on top yak. Would this paddle be ideal?

Asked by: Mbdonnm
This paddle is a great choice if you are looking for something lightweight and will best fit you in the 230 cm size. However, whether or not it is ideal is completely dependent on you and your paddling preferences. I have an Aire Tomcat Solo inflatable kayak and do mostly river kayaking.  I'm 5'11'.  Would this be a good paddle for river kayaking and if so, what length would you recommend?  If not, please recommend an alternative paddle.

Asked by: Squishy Bunny
Based on your height and the width of your boat, we would recommend a 240cm paddle.
