Keeps the honest people honest.
I bought this bike lock for commuting to work and for parking in daylight hours at stores or something. It's a good lock with a decently thick cable. I also like how easy it is to set the combination and the ease of use. It feels very solid. That being said, I would not count on this lock to keep my bike secure in an area where I'm leaving it overnight or it's out of sight of people. It will definitely keep somebody from just walking off with your bike, but it could be cut with a pair of bolt cutters with a little bit of work. If I feel I'm going to need more security, I go with my big Kryptonite U-lock and a cable. That stuff is heavy though. This lock could also be used in addition to a more heavy duty lock, to lock up accessories or wheels or something. So, if you are parking your bike in a safe area where you just want to keep somebody from grabbing your bike and riding away, this is a great little lock.

Inconvenient, too much follow up just to work it
I got this simple lock to use right away. Trying to locate the reset instructions with the manufacturer, I truly can´t understand why they don´t just come with my purchased product. Same with the factory preset combination. Went to their website, and they send me a link to a video that IS NOT for my model lock, even though I specifically request my model #. Then, to send an inquiry, I am forced to give them my mailing address AND my phone number, when my email should suffice. This is ridiculous, and I would´ve much preferred to purchase a lock from a different manufacturer. It´s taking me 10 times longer to get this working than it did for me to give them my money. My mistake.

annoyingly stiff but otherwise OK lock

This lock wouldn’t deter a determined thief, but the casual grab & run thief would likely go to the next bike that is unlocked. It was easy to reset the combination, and as long as there’s no binding, it locks and unlocks well. But the cable is so stiff that it is functionally much shorter, and any attempt to stretch it makes the lock halves twist out of alignment so that they bind. That makes it annoyingly difficult to lock and unlock it if there’s any stretch tension on the lock. I had to mark it down for those reasons.

Kryptonite KryptoFlex

The lock is fine and does its job. The only part that was off about this lock was unlocking it when I first opened it. There weren't any instructions so I assumed it would be the standard 0000. After looking at several different videos online, I saw that some Kryptonite locks unlock by 0005. After that, super easy to set your combination and the cable is what I expected.

It does the job...annoying

As others have said, this lock can be a pain in the butt. Extremely stiff that sometimes it takes longer to lock the bike up than it does to run into the store.

Do not buy this lock! This lock doesn’t keep things safe. Buy something hefty!

Cut and stole bike from this lock

My son was using this to lock his bike at school. The second week of school someone cut the cable to this lock and stole bike. He was told by the officer that these locks are very easy to cut and steal without anyone noticing.

Cable is easily cut

I bought this lock and my bike was stolen and whoever stole it cut through this lock with seemingly little frustration.

Lock froze

First time using it the lock froze. I had the correct combination, (put it in my phone). Had to have it chopped off to get the bikes for mountain biking. L

A secure lock

This is a solid lock. Easy to set the combination to what you want. It stays in a pretty stiff coiled position which I hope loosens up a bit with use. The only real drawback is the length. It would be better if it was about a foot longer.
