Really Wanted To Like These, But...
I have to agree with those who've complained about the protruding bridge. It's wide and really jots out. I can easily see it and is especially noticeable when I turn slightly one way or the other or look up. It's like a fly landed on the corner of my eyebrow. As much as they tout the clarity of their Brilliant lens and for $240, it's a very weird design flaw, but I guess it doesn't bother most people according to the reviews. I didn't notice it in the store but hard to ignore outside. Other than that, the lens is beautiful. I just find a dark spot in the overhead corner to be distracting and a deal breaker. Will be returning.
Unfortunately I am disappointed.
They fit great but the bridge across the nose is in my field of vision. I will be returning them. Maui Jim's are the best but I am going to try a different style and glass lense.
Little pricy, but good quality
My first polarized sunglasses. They're good quality, good construction, look great, fit great, light on the head, the nose pads are comfortable and keep the glasses firmly in place. The glasses do scratch fairly easily though.
Perfect for my needs
These are as good as my last pair of Maui Jim that I unfortunately lost in 2020. I tried to find happiness with cheaper brands. These are a step above. So light and comfortable for my face. Best of all, they are so versatile that they're the first pair I reach. With the 20% membership coupon and REI dividend, it was much easier to justify. Pay once, cry once applies here.
Worth it!
I noticed my eyes were putting in a lot more effort and strain with cheap shades. Eyesight is priceless
'sunglass review'
Size is too small, is there any way to 'modify' to fit a larger head? These fog up when first put on in colder weather. They are used mainly for driving and are great for that purpose. Good glare reduction, polarized works great, eyes are not tired after a full day of driving.
Bad
Maui Jim makes excellent sunglasses. These are an exception. Poor all around.
