Works great
I've tried several of these "pocket" products and this is the only one that works. I use them for sink laundry while traveling. 1-2 sheets for a couple pairs of underwear or socks, a couple more for larger garments. Great for packing light and reducing the number of liquids in you carry-on.

Trek & Travel Pocket Soap
I picked up the Trek & Travel Pocket Laundry Wash so I could wash some of my laundry in a plastic bag while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. The instructions said to use 1 to 2 leaves of the soap for washing. 1 or 2 leaves seemed to do nothing so I added 10 leaves and there still appeared to be no soap in the water. I found that carrying a small plastic bottle of dish soap works much better for a fraction of the price. TheTrek & Travel laundry wash is a cute gimmick and would be a great idea but it didn’t work for washing through hiker dirt bag clothing, it isn’t strong enough. It may work fine for travel where you stay in a hotel.

Not Tough Enough for Backpacking

Bought this for an upcoming through hike. I was looking for something light, small but strong enough to clean my clothes. I used my clothes from a day hike that I did earier that day. These were typically soiled, nothing extreme, just normal trail dust and dirt. I started out with 5 leaves in the 10 liter bucket. The dirt grime was not coming out. I added 5 more leaves. Still wasn't cleaning dirt from the socks. The water never felt soapy and never changed color either. I finished the clothes and hung them to dry. They still didn't even smell clean. I think this would be great for a traveler that just sat on a plane or walked through the city streets. Not strong enough for the sweat and grime that you get from hiking. I will go back to the liquid soap.

Takes a lot of the leaves

I took this on a 6 week backpacking trip in France. Even though the package recommended using 1 to 2 leaves, To wash a pair of pants, a shirt, underwear, a handkerchief and a pair of socks with liners that I had been wearing for a few days took about 6 leaves to do a decent job in cold water. OTOH, the light weight, convenience, the fact that it could not leak in my pack and small container size compared to a small bottle of soap was well worth taking this on my trip.

Great for travel

We spent 10 days in Israel and Jordan. These were a life saver! We didn’t want to use the ‘pay per item’ laundry service in our hotels, so I was super thankful we found these and remembered to pack them. They weigh almost nothing, and it was a great way to wash a few items in the sink at the end of the day. More items do require more ‘leaves,’ but we had plenty, so no big deal.

Sink and Washing Machine Use

While traveling in Europe I used this product by placing 2 sheets in a large zip lock bag to hand wash my underwear and socks in the bathroom sink. I also used 6 sheets to wash a small load of cloths in cold water. In both instances, they worked fine. Note: My cloths were not soiled, but more from perspiration.

Compact cleaning

Did a lot of hand-washing in the sink while hosteling. Definitely want to make sure your hands are dry when removing the sheets. I used a couple for a sink-load of laundry which is more than they say you need. It doesn't seem to suds up, but it does get the job done. Nice scent, too.

So handy!

This tiny package is so perfect for travel/camping. I like to pack light and wash out a few things as I go. Having a non-liquid detergent that takes up almost no space is great. I have used on multiple trips and would highly recommend.

GREAT!!

So lightweight and great for laundry in the sink during European travels! About 2 - 4 sheets were good for a sink full of laundry. Definitely dissolves right away, so I pulled the sheets prior to filling the sink with water. Absolutely recommend this product!
