Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a tick remover that works! This thing is so simple, it got the entire deer tick off of my daughter. No worry about pinching my 3 year old with this thing like with tweezers. And is sooo simple on my dog too. Those big ticks he gets pull right off, head and all, and I don't have to touch them with my hands. The other ones I have tried are plastic and were lost in my junk drawer whenever I needed it, but this one goes right on my key chain and is on my person whenever I am hiking and find ticks, no waiting 'til I get home to remove the little suckers. Much more convenient. Great product. thank you, tick key!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ticks be gone! This is the greatest tick removal device since the beginning of time! Having grown up across the river from Lyme, CT I have plenty of experience with ticks and Lyme Disease. I have one dog adopted from Aussie Rescue who is Lyme positive as his first family didn't pay enough attention to the details (he is fine at this point and continues to be monitored) and I find this device absolutely painless for the dogs when a tick has become embedded. The entire tick is removed with absolute ease. Thank you to the person who invented this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice, I bought it twice My medium size dog and I pick up ticks from time to time, and I have yet to find (nor do I need to find) another device to get rid of embedded ticks. Its a quick and simple method to pluck out ticks, rarely leaving anything behind. I keep one key attached to my pack and another at home in the medicine cabinet for when I don't spot them in my dogs long fur in the field. Great and simple product for removing those suckers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money I bought this a while back for use on my dog. I wasn't able to use it then as I had already cleared all the ticks off her, but I just rescued a new dog who happened to be covered in ticks. This instantly popped every tick we could find off her, which was no easy feat as the new pup was excited and flinging her head around. In some cases just a small amount of pressure popped these ticks clean off, head and all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only way to go! Just used this for the first time since I lost it last summer. Wow! There really is no easier way to remove ticks. Worked pretty well even on a baby tick. The best part is that the head was intact every time, so there's no extra digging around to remove the entire body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynamite Great tool -- easy to use, effective, doesn't seem to hurt my dog. Before I had this, I struggled with one tick for almost an hour. Went to REI, bought this, removed all three ticks in 5 minutes. Adding it to my first aid kit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesn't work on small ticks Bought this years ago and just tried it for the first time. Don't get ticks very often any more Am now going to throw it out. It just would not at all hold onto a small, newly attached tick. Have ordered myself new Sawyer Tick Pliers, which REI used to sell, and which work. We used to have a dog that would go out for a walk and come back with twenty ticks so we appreciate what works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Small, lightweight, and durable. That's end of good things I have to say about this product. Purchased this for my 50 lb. short-haired dog. I was unable to remove even one of the many ticks that my dog had brought home from our hike at Mammoth Cave National Park. Even with her very short fur I couldn't remove a single tick from her easy to reach belly, much less the areas where ticks love to hide. I plan to modify this product by bending it to 90 degrees in order to imitate another tick removal device, but as it is the tick key has been completely useless for me.

If you type in "Liberty Mountain The Tick Key" on, there is a short video that shows how to use the key.
