Indestructible

Nat Geo maps are aways worthwhile and their plastic construction holds up through hard use and wet weather. Highly detailed with lots of information in addition to the cartography.

Map in a box

The trails Illustrated maps are great, but why ship a flat item like a map in a box that would hold a pair of shoes? Has REI got too big to care about environmental impact?

Maps for me

I love maps for the “larger picture” of a place. GPS is great, but I also like a map; old school
