Great for suspending a tarp over your campsite!
These have so many applications, but one of my favorite uses is securing a tarp to a 1/4" line over my camp in inclimate weather.
Next best thing
Adapted this to my hammock/shelter setup. Replaced the heavy cord, carabiners and webbing system with Army surplus parachute cord and these Figure 9 Carabiners. Infinate adjustment, speed of setup, much less bulk and helped cut a lot of weight from the overall package. These carbiners are so useful though, that I keep pulling them out for other jobs. Im gonna hafta get a few extras!
Greatest buy this year
I was looking for a hook for hanging towels while camping and found this based on design only. I did a search on YouTube and watched how easy and seamless this worked for securing pretty much anything you can think of. I decided to buy it and within ten minutes of being home with it my toddler and I built an amazing tent. We went camping and I made a shelter that was more secure than what I made a couple weeks earlier. Buy this and you will not regret it.
Amazing and speeds things up!
I use two of these to secure my hammock when I go camping. It saves me so much hassle with getting the ends secured evenly. It only takes me about five minutes to set up now since I don't have to fuss with constantly tying and untying knots.
Helpful, and a great idea
I really like the Nite Ize Figure 9s, Figure 9 carabiners, and Cam Jams. I don't have to try to remember knots or how to tie them. For someone with limited fine motor skills they are incredibly useful for securing loads, tents, tarps, etc.

Just Too Simple
A No Brainer. Too Simple. I use the large one for securing loads in truck beds, rafts, boats, trailers, etc. Also works great for hammocks. Smaller ones great for tents and tarps. No more slipped knots. Really quick and efficient.
