Great Multipurpose soap
This soap is very versatile, we used it for cleaning our dishes, our hands, and even our hair. It creates a good lather and is safe for the outdoors. The only drawback is that the little leaves of soap stick together and you end up with more than you needed. But it comes with quite a few leaves of soap, 50+ and the packaging is smaller than a pack of tic tacs. Much better alternative to bringing liquid soap which can leak inside your pack.
Okay for transit
I tested this product in the BWCA, mainly for use with dishes. It takes about 2-3 sheets of soap to equal about 1 drop of Dr. Bonners. For dishes it worked very poorly. It worked fine for hand washing, but as the sheet dissolves it adheres to your hands and takes a lot of scrubbing. It is lightweight and small and would be good to keep in a car or take on a plane, but on trail the sheets get moist from the non-airtight container.
Pretty good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like them but you have to be pretty careful when taking the sheets out. Easy to grab many at once especially if you have any moisture at all on one’s hands. Can’t really put them Back because they stick so readily. Otherwise they work well enough. I used these while backpacking in Philmont. 1 sheet per large ziplock with clothing item And water was enough to clean the item to make it wearable.
So far, big fan
In the quest to save weight wherever possible, I think I'm a fan. These work - one sheet makes enough "soap" to wash a pot and mug. For body washing, they get all gummed up in the washcloth, but still get you clean. A lot lighter than a camp-suds bottle, BUT have not used these anywhere but the desert. I can totally see these being a huge hassle if it's raining.
Love These
Love the soap! It was a great change from hand sani on backpacking trips and I loved that its biodegradable. Super light, fit in my waist strap along with all the other quick reach desirables. Was really helpful for that backcountry grime feeling under the nails. I'm sure you could use one sheet for more than just a handwashing.
Allergy solution
I have been using these for years as my everyday hand soap away from home, after developing a skin allergy to a preservative that’s very common in liquid soaps. So easy to keep in my pocket or purse and I usually use half a sheet per hand wash. I also really appreciate that they are fragrance-free.
Easy to use, but not best for shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well (after I read the directions) as soap on hands and body. Just OK for washing hair, but definitely not as good as real shampoo.
Pocket soap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, now I don’t need to worry about a soap bottle breaking open and going EVERYWHERE lol.
Yea
Light weight product. Travels well. Wash stuff in sink, hang dry. Take less. Highly recommend
Ultra light solution
