Soft & large surface area pads

My brakes came with sintered pads for ceramic rims and were wearing out my regular alloy ones so tried these, perfect for softer, area is good; yet, they barely made it with the QR flipped wide open to clear when not in use, ymmv, OK in the rain, good quality & price.

great service

REI did a great job repairing my bike in a timely manner. The repairs they made, brought my 12 year Diamondback bike, back to new standards.

A better brake.

Easy installation. Very smooth braking. No squeaking. I should have done this years ago.

Affordable, simple, effective

I bought these to replace worn pads that had lost most of their stopping power. As with most things on a bicycle, this was a super simple part to replace and adjust, and my bike stops 100% better now. I haven't tested it in snowy weather yet, and I'm not a performance cyclist, but for my daily commute, these were just what I needed.
