a sturdy classic
Yes , I recommend this product
I bought this tent in 2003 and have used it for car and bike camping 1-3 times per year. It has held up well. I broke and replaced one pole in 2016. Summer 2022 the plastic “window” in the fly finally cracked due to age. I’m hoping to repair the fly, but if that doesn’t work out I would purchase another REI half-dome in a heartbeat, and would expect it to last the next 20 years.
