At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but it is one camping item that is worth spending the money on. They have a very good system to dispose of human waste and to make everyone comfortable pooping in the woods. It is portable and packs easy and much smaller than some other solutions. When I go on a trip, I pack a bunch of WAGG bags directly in the open area so they are quickly and easily accessible when you set it up. Toilets are now becoming required on rivers and in many national parks these days and for good reason. Digging a cat hole is just not desirable for the inexperienced. This toilet and system is easy to use, sanitary and able to be used by kids and adults alike. Mated with a pop-up shelter, and you have privacy to do your doody. The only negative remark I have for the design is that it can be tippy, so be careful. The legs can sink in sand or loose ground and since you are on a tripod, you need to maintain a relative center of gravity. You can't just flop yourself down on it like a porcelain throne. I have used this on a 4 day kayak trip and multiple overland 4x4 trips in the backcountry. I also used this in an 'emergency' when our sewer backed up and we couldn't use any water overnight. My wife was finally grateful that I had all the camping equipment and this toilet was a savior that night for the whole family. Don't overstock your WAGG bags b/c the bags are meant to be biodegradable and they will start to degrade after two years. Overall, this is a fantastic product and a great value. The more we use it, the more I am happy with the purchase.

I was pleased with the portable toilet for car camping. Having it right outside the tent saved me from walking in the dark to the toilet in the middle of the night. A couple of cautions: 1) the lid fell off easily, and reattaching it in the dark was a challenge; and 2) the chair tipped to one side when I sat down; luckily I kept my balance and righted it, but that could have been messy (in the dark). Now that I'm aware of these quirks I can use the toilet with ease. The foldable stowable feature is good for loading with our other gear. I recommend this product if you like having a toilet close by.

A favorite camping item for our family

Perfect for family camping. It is comfortable, stable, and folds up to be about the same size as our Jerry cans, so it’s easy to store on our overlanding trailer. The only thing that can be challenging is folding the legs back up after several days of use. It’s too difficult for me to fold the back two legs up. My husband has to push the little plastic tabs to disengage the legs to fold it back up for storage.

Thankful

I'm an older woman who loves car camping - but not outhouses, especially during a world-wide pandemic. With the Cleanwaste GO Anywhere, traveling has become a lot safer and easier. I place the toilet in my dome tent - the unit itself is stable, selfcontained and does not smell. I've camped in some windy, hot, rainy ....conditions, and it's all good. On the average I use 2 kits per day. Waste is easy to contain within the thick plastic ziplock baggie which can be disposed of in the trash. The only downside are the toilet legs - they catch on the plastic tabs, so I carry a screwdriver to use as a lever. Excellent product, I highly recommend it!

Comfortable and handy.

Easy set up, very comfortable if a tad lower then normal. We just dig a small hole when we can but nice to have the bags and know we can pack stuff out. In this age of covid I keep in the car all the time in case it's needed and there's no well vented bathroom handy. Fits perfectly in the rear well of a gen 2 Prius. Legs tabs are stiff but better that then flimsy, though haven't tried yet in cold weather.

I love my PETT

I have used this toilet from the backcountry in Colorado to the back seat of a Passat and LOVE it. I know, the back seat thing is a bit odd. But it was a 15 hour drive and I wanted to test the odor eating capacity of the powder. I set it up, did my business and zipped it up. The driver never suspected a thing. I asked him the next day and he didn't believe me. The only thing I've had trouble with is that it is very light (which is also one of its best qualities). So if you've got it set up in a windy place, you'd better secure it some how. I've also had a hard time getting the legs back off. I just leave it set up, but believe it's suppose to pack back down into suitcase form. I haven't figured that one out yet.

Double Duty

I set this up in my 4 person tent when I solo car camp. It's a great alternative to a dirty outhouse or common bathroom. When not in use (and empty), it makes a great tent coffee table. One Con... if it's cold (in the 30's F), forget about closing the legs. I'm a reasonably strong guy but the plastic latches loose their flexibility.

A must have for timid campers!

Originally purchased with my daughter, wife, nieces and sister-in-law in mind. Honestly combined with a privacy shelter this is now everyone's favorite piece of equipment. It honestly turned a nervous trip of newbie campers into a fantastic trip. The ladies were very happy to have a private and convenient place to go. Easy and quick to set up, use and pack away. Odors were not a problem, just follow the MFR recommended usage for the bags. Speaking of the bags the primary and secondary bags make packing in and packing out a cinch. Won't go camping without it again!

Super convenient and comfortable

Love the idea. Delivered with a cracked lid (shipping/manufacturing?). Super strong but when using tissue, remember this thing only has three legs so caution when weight is to one side or the other. Coupled with Cleanwaste gel bags, this thing is comfortable and strong during late night doody runs. Placed in a Kelty privacy shelter next to our RTT. Super convenient.

Can't beat it!!

This is a life saver. After a total colectomy 10 years ago I have had many bathroom instances that the PETT would have saved me. Now It rides in the back of my truck. No more worries. Just about anytime anywhere I'm covered. Also, use for camping is great. The ladies love it. Never thought I'd could make friends with a portable toilet. In carry in carry out parks this is a key item. Would highly recommend this product to everyone. It is tough, easy to use, and it beats digging holes any day.

No more midnight walks to the bathroom!

Bought the little gem to take camping with us so no more middle of the night walks up to the bathroom facilities. It is a bit shorter than I had imagined, but not so bad that it will be an issue (we aren't that tall) and it will fit in the vestibule area of our tent better. The unit itself feels very sturdy and doesn't move when someone sits down. The lid does fall off easily under its own weight, but I am going to see about rigging some type of cord to it to help with that issue. My biggest complaint is how the legs fold back in. Like another reviewer said, you have to push the hard plastic away from the leg in order to fold it in. It is very easy to pinch yourself while doing this, so be careful. (It happened to me on the first setup.) Overall I am very pleased with this product. Hopefully the bags get multiple uses like many people have said.
