Croakies Are Back!
Received free product
It's been a while since I owned a pair of croakies-college maybe?? Glad I have these micro sutiers now. I can't recall how many pairs of expensive shades I've owned that have fallen off and ended up with scratched/ruined lenses. These croakies are thin, lightweight, and fit comfortably. Adjustable strap is a nice touch too.

Will wreck your glasses
Do not trust your glasses with these. I like nice sunglasses and trusted these retainers to keep mine pristine and close at hand. I have multiple pairs of these and am now getting rid of all of them. You purchase these to hold your glasses. They will fail. When they do, your glasses will fall from your neck and drop to the ground. Or if you are fishing, you want just get scratched lenses, you'll get lost glasses in the water. I had my good Costa's on this and yesterday they fell on to the concrete after the holders unattached. Both lenses (glass to reduce scratching) are now wrecked. Reached out to Croakies and they state that "I didn't buy the glasses from them so it's not their fault". Do not trust these holders. Do not expect them to do anything at all to assist you when their product fails. If I could rate them lower than 1 star I would. When it comes time for the company to stand by their product, they don't. Absolutely terrible experience. If you value your glasses, avoid these at all costs.

Keeps Sunglasses Within Reach

Received free product

Usually, when backpacking I just stick my shades onto the chest strap of my backpack. While conveniently in reach, my glasses often fall off causing me to damage multiple pairs of shades over the years. I decided to give these Croakies Eyewear Retainers to see if I could cut down scratched lenses. My Croakies allow me to keep my shades conveniently in reach while not having to worry about dropped, stepped on, or scratched-up shades. I could also see these being useful for those who are out on the water boating all day. While hiking in Dolly Sods I encountered high winds, losing my hat twice. My Croakies, while comfortably cinched, didn’t move an inch.

Does the job effectively

Received free product

The Micro Suiter functions as designed. I wore this Croakies product with my wire rim glasses to run, cross train with calisthenics and weights, do yoga, and dance Zumba. They held the glasses securely. The Micro design makes it lightweight. I honestly did not notice iit during exercise. I will continue using it.

They function well but tear easily

I use these to keep my glasses firm on my face when I'm sport climbing. They have worked great for that: always keeping my specs in place with no slippage, allowing me to see clearly without having to take a hand off the rock to adjust my glasses mid-route. The material is soft and has never caused discomfort. The problem is that after maybe ten uses the end of one of the arms on my glasses tore through the material while I was trying to put the retainers on my glasses for the day. Granted, they were inexpensive but they should still last longer than roughly ten days of use. These retainers may suit you well if you do not plan to take them off of your glasses.

Does the job, for years and years!

This is my third pair of these. My oldest pair only recently gave out, after many (8?) years of sweat, sunscreen, dirt and abuse. I immediately put one of these on my new, expensive prescription sunglasses to help keep them safe on a big recent trip, and I keep one in my workout bag to hold my glasses on while I work out. They're basic, but very reliable.

Great for being out and about!

Received free product

I have never used one of these before but thought I'd give this a try. It was great for being on a shady / sunny trail. Sunglasses go on sunglasses go off - no need for a case or to worry about them falling off my hat. I have ended up using this when I am running around a lot too - very convenient. Super easy to take on and off my glasses. I give this 4 vs 5 stars because the added width to my sunglasses starts to get irritating to my ears.

Great security for your shades

Received free product

I’ve been using the Croakie retainer for nearly 6 months now. They have worked great to keep my eyewear where it belongs, on me. It’s easy to install and adjust. I also found the Croakie retainer comfortable during my long hiking treks. It’s a great buy for the $.

Broke down over time

I used these for several months and over time the elastic part that attaches to the sunglasses broke down. In the future I will chose something that has a better attach point to hold the shades.

Simple and practical croakie

I am seem to misplace my glasses so I wanted a lightweight croakie to attach to my glasses so I would keep them on me when I am not using them for my vision. This croakie is made with a nice stretchy fabric that is simple and adjustable. These work great and I am happy with this purchase.
