A work of art
This paddle looked lovely in the shop and is great to paddle with. It is strong, light and extremely comfortable in the hand. I can put lots of power to the blade when required. It does seem to aid fatigue when compared with other paddles i have used.

Waste of Money
Nice looking paddle with absolutely zero power face (translation = lots of work, go no where). Don't know why, it looks like it should move some water. I got one that came with a used canoe I bought (fortunately). I've kept it to give to lily dippers in the bow. Check out BB's Espresso Plus, excellent paddle for a few more bucks.

Great paddle for a great price!

This paddle is perfect for the recreational user. It is very light but still durable. Used it in rivers and lakes, and it performs great.

lake, streams and open water

Used this paddle on small calm lakes, shallow streams and the open water of Lake Superior! Handled great under all circumstances! It's weighted well, smooth in the water and minimized fatigue...

Best paddle anywhere near this price.

We have two of these for our Kevlar 16 foot canoe. It doesn't get any better. Balance is perfect, and the rock-guard tip is extremely strong and resists abrasion. It also doesn't hurt that they are beautifully made, lightweight, and attractive. Highest recommendation!

EXCELLENT PADDLE FOR THE PRICE

I purchased two and we're both happy with this paddle, going to buy another, need a bit shorter one for the bow. I've owned very expensive paddles and this seems just fine, well made quality paddle.

LOVE IT

I love this paddle! I have been on 2 BWCA trips with it already and it is my first time using a wood paddle. It is super comfortable on the hands and nice and light compared to my aluminum/plastic paddles.
