cracked
I got these for my VW Vanagon. After a few years the black plastic cracked and separated everywhere. Looks absolutely terrible. I sent a message to Yakima Support to ask if they had any suggestions for covering them and they never got back to me. Disappointed.
Yakama for Rooftop tent!
We custom installed the bars and other hardware for our rooftop tent and it has held up perfectly
Work as intended
I've purchased these round bars several times for different applications. They work great. For the price, it always amazes me that they don't come with the end caps.
Beefy Bars
These don't look it from pictures or even in person but these round bars are made with beefy wall thickness and will stand up to any loads. I'm sure more than any car roof can handle. Good buy.
Good Crossbars
I needed longer crossbars for a new truck using my existing Yakima bike carriers. These work fine, there's no much else to say, other than they'll handle 6 bikes. That's a lot of bikes!
Easy to install
Bought a few weeks ago installation was easy and they worked perfectly for carrying a large kayak.
Great bars
Using these with the Yakima Bedrock setup. Holds 2 bikes and a Rocket 12 box with ease.
