Get your size or size up
I'm usually a size 7 in woman's and I got a size 7, it fits really perfect but if you want a little more room I'd say size up I'm happy with my purchase. It's so pretty and a vibe...I haven't worn it to snow yet but once I do I'll update this review to let you all know how well it works
Run very small
I'm on a quest for warm, comfortable boots for snow/rainy day dog walking/hiking. I really thought these were going to be the ones-the general build is great, but they fit so tight. I usually wear a 6.5/7 and have a narrow foot. Started with a 7 for warm sock room and it was too tight. 7.5 and 8 felt exactly the same size--they were all like a glove fit (which I do not want with boots); no room to wiggle my toes or swap to my custom insoles. All three sizes felt exactly the same.
I would purchase again
I've been really impressed with the Shellista VI Mid Waterproof Boots. They are stylish yet practical, which is hard to find in a winter boot. They keep my feet warm and dry in cold, wet conditions, and the waterproof feature definitely holds up during rain and light snow. The cushioning makes them comfortable for extended wear, whether I'm running errands or walking for longer periods. I also love the mid-height designit provides good ankle support without feeling bulky. They pair well with jeans or leggings, so I don't feel like I'm wearing a heavy "snow boot." Sizing runs slightly snug, so I'd recommend wearing thinner socks or sizing up if you plan to layer thick socks. Overall, these boots are a great combination of comfort, warmth, and style, and I'd definitely recommend them for everyday winter wear.
narrow boots
I bought these hoping for something to wear in the cold, but not for hiking. I wear a 9.5 in altra trail shoes and a 40 for danskos - my two favorite shoes. I got these in a 9.5 and my feet barely fit with regular socks on and were squished with hiking socks. The toe box is narrow and uncomfortable. The uppers were comfortable and easy to lace and the shoes felt well insulated, which is a shame. These are great if you don’t have wide toes.
Toe flexes too much, sizing runs small
1. I have to have footwear that does not flex in the toe joint. These are very nice boots but they do flex and wouldn’t work witih my arthritis in that area. 2. I am constantly cranky about the fact that a lot of shoe companies do not offer women’s 1/2 sizes over size 10. This is why I live in Hokas, which also have rocker soles and work for my toe joint. I was so delighted to see that North Face makes the half sizes. Only problem - they run small! My toes hit the end with the 10.5 size and I had to order 11s to seriously try out. Nothing is standardized!! 3. I would like to add that I then bought the Norht Face Vectiv Fastpack, which like the above styles is insulated and waterproof, unfortunately is a shorter cut, but has a rocker sole. Again, the 10.5 was too small but I am now in love with the size 11 of this style. I wish they would make one with the same rocker sole in the taller size as well.
I'd buy these boots , but in a less delicate color.
These are a Christmas present so I wasn't able to return them in time to have them replaced. The boots are lovely. My only issue is they arrived with several scuff marks on the sides. They don't appear to be worn, perhaps from the display . I used a toothbrush and mild soap to o get some up.
I would buy again
I bought these boots to travel through Europe in winter. They are comfortable for extended walking, warm and waterproof. I was a little worried about how the light color would look with wear in harsh weather but when they got wet and dirty they wiped clean easily
Do NOT recommend
I bought these for a trip to Colorado, just to wear while walking around town. I tested them out by walking in the snow very briefly and my socks got damp and my feet were cold. These are not waterproof at all. Will be returning.
Comfortable boots
I bought these boots last winter for a snow trip. The fasteners at the top will get tied up with laces on the shoe as you're walking and trip you. Otherwise, it's comfortable but wouldn't buy again
What else would you rather wear?
These boots kept my feet dry and warm during a Buffalo Bills football game in January. Enough said.
