Great tent! Easy to set up with 2 people. Rained two of the days we were camping and dry as a bone inside. Only wish the ground tarp and awning came at a discounted package when making the tent purchase. We opted not to get those due to the increase in cost. Lots of room inside. We had a double inflatable bed, 2 camping chairs, a little side table, and an XL dog bed with plenty of room to spare. Quite easy to pack up as well. Can't wait to go out again!
The Regatta Bell 13' is simply amazing. Here are some key points that make this tent one of the best! 27" sidewall height, competing brands are 18". There is ample floor space to allow a home away from home on longer trips. And, even better, there are loops on the sidewall that are spaced perfectly to hang solar powered patio lighting. Set-up, adjusting, and tensioning are a breeze on this tent. Plus, the quality of stitching, zippers, and overall craftsmanship are spot on. The tent bag is large enough for everything plus the footprint and the awning. After the initial seasoning of the tent, we had a wind and rain storm that dumped 3"+ of rain in a short period of time and the inside of the tent was perfectly dry. In the high winds, the tent never faltered and never swayed. The Regatta Bell is a great tent, and I will be enjoying it for years to come.
So far, just took it out on its maiden voyage for Labor Day and I'm so glad I decided to pull the trigger and buy this tent! I was a little worried, at first, because I thought it was going to be a little too complicated to put up. But after watching a few YouTube tutorial videos WhiteDuck put out, I gave it a try, and got it up perfectly for two whole days in the mountainsbetter I found out that I could do that now, then in the snow at least! This is a great tent though. Gets a lot of compliments, plenty enough space for a solo camper. And very cozy when you're inside.
I bought the Regatta 13 foot bell tent when I purchased 27 acres of raw land I the Adirondacks of New York. For the first two years I would stay at the property for 2 weeks each spring and fall. This summer I have been living and working from my White Duck bell tent for 3 months, through massive thunderstorms and blazing heat. The tent stays dry inside regardless of what nature throws at it. My only complaint would be lack of sufficient ventilation at the peak - when the sun is out and on the tent, the air temperature is 20-25 degrees hotter than the outside air, despite the door being all screen and having all the windows open with a fan going. Other than that this tent has been bulletproof.
I camped twice in this tent and so far I love it. I even got complements on my tent. I love all the features it has to offer, however, I give four stars for the reasons below. -I haven't been able to utilise the pockets much since the openings are right at the seam and it's difficult to put things in and out. -Stove jack makes my woodlander medium stove right in the middle of the center pole and wall. -The chain inside center pole broke at the first use. My guess is that it couldn't bear the pressure when it was stored folded and put vertically. Instead of the chain, I wish it had a lock system to keep the pole together. -I wish pale beige was available for 10' regatta. Over all, I love the tent and I keep using it.
After reading countless reviews I purchased the 13 foot Regatta this tent exceeded my expectations in every way! Great quality and craftsmanship. I have used it a few times for 3-4 day trips even weathered through a thunderstorm not a drop of water in the tent. Yes I seasoned the tent before ever taking it out. It is very easy to set up by myself! I highly recommend this tent to anyone considering a high quality solid tent
This tent is AMAZING! I run a Forest School and it has been the best addition to our home base. The quality is evident and the space is abundant (I got the 16' size). It's been such a hit that we will be ordering two more so each of our locations has one on site!
I got this tent as a gift and I could not be happier. It turns heads and is the envy at elk camp. I've ridden out many winter storms in it while living in luxury. Great quality, quiet zippers, what more can you ask for? I don't recommend using a chimney cap, it definitely dripped creosote on the tent, but it looks well loved now. My favorite aspect is the simple one person setup. It goes up fast when you get to camp after dark. A good wall tent can take an hour with two people, this thing takes about 20 minutes once you're in the swing of things.
Amazing tent. I can put it up by myself in 15 minute. I wish they would have offered a fire proof rug as the floor melted the first night due to the stove. A little disappointed as I spend some good money for this tent and not there is a hole in the floor. Other than that this is a fantastic tent. Just don't know what to do about the melted floor.
I just used this tent for the first time and setting up is super easy. My dog was in it more than anyone lol. The green keeps its darker during the morning. It rained for 5 hours the second night and we stayed bone dry. More room than I could ever ask for in a tent. I cant wait to get a woodstove for winter camping!
