These fleece lined pants were exactly what I hoped they would be. Great quality, good water resistance, and very comfortable. Also, it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing huge snow pants or anything. They have a trim look which I love. Based on other reviews and the description, I ordered a size up (size small) so they wouldn’t be too snug. Though, I absolutely could have gotten the XS, as the Small has plenty of room for a layer of leggings to fit underneath, but without being too big on their own. I’m 5’6” and 115 lbs. I am very happy with my purchase, but will probably order an XS as well for a more slim, pant fit.
I bought these pants last winter at my local outdoor gear shop because I wanted a slimmer, lighter option when xc skiing and snowshoeing. I absolutely love them. Over a base layer, they are perfect for our Northern Michigan winter. They are warm without being stifling, have enough stretch, come up above my hips, and tbh they're attractive looking, too. I want a second pair, they are a staple in my winter wardrobe now.
Got two sizes and love both! (5’6”, 158 lb) One review said they are a tight fit so I sized up. I first ordered the XL and while the waist is a little big, I loved the loose fit around my thighs. But I am on a diet and worried that they might end up too big so I got the size large as well. Definitely more of a tighter fit around the thighs and the waist but so so comfy and only a little snug at the stretchy waist. These are my pants for hanging out in our cold house, walking the dog, or hiking in chilly weather. They aren’t great for hiking in snow because they don’t go over your boots but so comfy. I do wish they had a cargo pocket for my phone and maybe a cinch around the waist. Hubby has a pair as well and he has them on all the time….very flattering as well.
Every Christmas, I buy my wife an outfit or two from OR. She always wears a large, so I originally bought her a large. It was too small. I reordering in an XL and it fit. If your considering these pants, consider upsizing. My wife is a teacher and always gets compliments when she sears Outdoor Research pants. Her classroom is chilly in the winter. I bought her these pants to help keep the chill of and they do exactly that. She loves wearing them shopping on cold days as well. They're soft and stretchy. She loves them.
I just received these and was happy to discover the XS fit! I’ve ordered about six different lined pants from different mfrs in size 0 and XS, and they were all way too big and I had to return them. I’m 5’2”, 105lb and these were even perfect length. Slim fit but not tight, I wanted these for walking around in ski towns when I’m not skiing. My only slight issue is they are really high waisted on me, but I guess that makes sense when you want to stay warm.
I now have 4 pairs of OR hiking pants, 2-Ferrosi and 2-Rialto fleece. Most recently the Rialto fleece whic I purchased for some colder weather hiking. I’m going to give these pants 5 stars. The fit is perfect (5’7 130 lbs/size small), they are warm without the bulky feel and so far very durable. I am using them as everyday pants because they don’t look like hiking pants even though they are. I wish they came in more colors as well as non fleece options.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pants! Perfect fit, well made and designed. The best pant for damp Pacific Northwest winters - they keep me warm and dry. Have had them 1.5 yrs and couldn't go a winter without them. My only ask is for OR to make them in some new colors - like the 'Atlantic' blue. I would like to buy another pair and would like color options that are not black and grey. Tk you!
Very warm pants for the winter! Love the waterproof material. The fleece insulation is so soft and cozy. Would recommend for anyone. I am 5'8" and these are almost too short in length. They hit at the ankle. But still, great for the winter especially if you're wearing long socks and boots. Pretty windproof. Fairly water resistant. Can wear in wet weather/snow. Great quality. Solid brand.
Came to buy the Cirque pants (which I love). This was an impulse purchase. After spending a weekend camping in high 40’s / 50’s temps and never taking these off I am back to buy a second pair! These are an awesome combo of comfy enough to sleep in, warm, and weather/dirt resistant. A very useful pant if you live in cold or cooler temps but still like to get outside!
Bought these for myself and just love the fit! I am 5’6 and the length is perfect. They are warm and snug fitting but such a soft fabric! They say they use recycled material but they are surprisingly soft and warm!! Perfect for the chilly days ahead. Bought them for walking and hiking.. love them.
