The last (toe box width) is much wider than my previous Alpha boots. The Boa system is highly adjustable and I am able to tighten the forefoot effectively to get a performance fit. I was skeptical about the Boa system but have found it convenient and effective. The only thing I would like to see done a little differently is the power straps. They are overall effective but a wider strap that grabs lower on the top of the boot could improve performance/fit. Highly recommend this boot to hard driving skiers.
Wore them for the first time early January & I have the worst shaped feet ever. Problems with bunions & they are wide. However even though I didn’t get them professionally warmed & stretched they were very comfortable throughout our holiday. Well done Salomon!
