Bag specs are wrong, exchange policy disappointing
The website said it fits up to 80 inches. Instead the bag is a total of 80 inches. At best I would say the bag might fit someone that is only 6 foot tall. I’m 6 ft 3 inches tall so the bag didn’t fit me. The quality of the bag was as expected as far as workmanship and materials. However, When I went to Boulder REI to exchange the bag and I asked to get the Labor Day sale price on the longer version of the bag, I got told no way. So, I returned the bag and went to buy the bag from bass pro shop instead. It’s sad that I’ve been a member of REI since 2006 and REI wouldn’t honor an exchange for the longer version (paying the difference in sale price of course) when the info on the website was clearly wrong. I guess I should have bought both lengths and test fit them and returned the one that didn’t fit.

Cold weather and zippers
I really wanted to like this sleeping bag, but had two issues: 1) It was warm enough, but had some cold spots. This is actually manageable, but the 2) second issue doomed my interest: It has a very thin zipper and the zipper likes to jam. This is no fun when you need to get out of the bag in the middle of the night when nature calls.

Great bag, especially for a great price
Yes , I recommend this product
I bought this bag this month as a 0 degree replacement for my 10 year old Marmot Treasels bag. It is over a pound lighter and drops down 40 degrees in temp rating. Very well made no frills bag. It was the lightest 0 degree bag available during the REI sale and I love it already. I’m taking it on a 5 day AT trip early next month and will update the review after the trip. So far I’m pretty happy with it. Comes with a compression sack which is pretty nice. No larger bag was provided to prevent storage down compression so you will need to let it decompress before using in the cold.

torn bag upon arrival
No, I do not recommend this product
I literally just got this in the mail today and opened it up and the carrying bag has a big rip in it. Super disappointed in that. The sleeping bag itself seems nice, but it’s not helpful that the bag it came with has a huge rip in it.
