No, I do not recommend this product
Yea it’s a good idea but to small for what you should bring in a first aid kit. I had to use the cords to shut the bag because the magnets would keep it closed because I put a lot in it and have a couple more things I want to put in it. If you want to make your own first aid kit I suggest looking at small stuff sacks with some kind of structure to put things in.
