REI is Slipping and this Book is Proof

This book contains out of date advice and misinformation. Very disappointing. That said, REI is not the organization it was 20 years ago. Don’t bother with this book. I recommend the NOLS Wilderness Medicine guide; REI ended their relationship with NOLS- what a mistake.
