Frees valuable space in the tent; for 10yrs & less
This is a great product! We have the adult size Disc-o-Bed and it is so great I tried to maximize even more space in my tent by adding this kid-o-bed. It *almost* worked! The dimensions listed in the REI review are accurate, but I forgot to account for two things: the width is listed as 32 inches, but this is from the outer edge of one disc to The other. You actually have less sleeping space than 32 inches. Also, the length is listed at 65 inches, which again is accurate, but I didn’t account for how much actually fabric is lying flat—about 60 inches. Those 2 1/2 inches on either side are angled and unpleasant to sleep on. Since my tallest kid is already about 4.5”, I knew we would grow out of this quickly and it wasn’t worth it for our family and returned it. If I had known about this cot a couple years ago, though, I would’ve snatched it up and would be a happier camper because of it! I’m a small woman and had no trouble carrying it assembling it.
