Another really disappointing product. This is supposed to be an advanced to expert level board that's stiff, responsive and perform aggressive on big mountain terrain. Instead, it drives like your grandma on Sunday, slow and unpredictable. The first thing I noticed is how narrow the waist width is for a freeride board. My medium bindings hang off the side even at 18 degrees. The torsional stiffness is very soft and makes for a spooky ride when you're trying to blast through bumpy snow. I will say that on piste, it does hold an edge fairly well but the lack of real overall stiffness has this chattering on anything than perfect corduroy. There is some pop to it but it's not what I'd expect from a board that's supposed to be ridden fast and hard. This board is meant for those who love a noodle in the park.
How can this honestly be a board manufacturers website without all the size details? Without the waist width, effective edge, sidecut radius, rider weight range, etc? There is no way we can make an educated purchase here, please fix this. Thankfully most of your retailers post this information so that they can sell your boards.
Go fast, turn less & enjoy the run out! This board is one of the most damp riding boards that I've had from Salomon. Helps to quiet down the chunder or a wild run out. Hyped that for a "charger" style board, still has a smooth carve when back on the groomer. Also a sleeper board for faster/bigger bank slalom races!
