Features

  • Backseat camber paired with a responsive flex provides maximum stability at high speeds
  • Camber loaded under the back foot for precision and control, with flat segments under the front foot for superior flotation in deep snow, give you the best of both worlds
  • Quadratic sidecut is a blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes, and fluid edge-to-edge transitions
  • Aero core combines ultralight, strong and responsive wood for the lightest feel underfoot and power on demand
  • Every single wood strip is hand-selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness
  • The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop
  • Cork and ABS insert on nose helps absorb vibrations for a smoother ride at high speed
  • B/FX Ultra is a patented combination of basalt and flax designed to provide superior dampening, power and weight reduction
  • A setback stance and tapered directional shape paired with a longer nose rocker provide superior float and maneuverability in deep snow
  • Tapered directional shape; tail width is slightly tapered (2–20 mm)
  • Tapered shape loosens up turning initiation and improves flotation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack
  • 50% recycled base, 100% recycled ABS sidewalls, 30% bio-based resins, 20% recycled edges, and olive wood veneer
  • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo

An Unresponsive Noodle

Another really disappointing product. This is supposed to be an advanced to expert level board that's stiff, responsive and perform aggressive on big mountain terrain. Instead, it drives like your grandma on Sunday, slow and unpredictable. The first thing I noticed is how narrow the waist width is for a freeride board. My medium bindings hang off the side even at 18 degrees. The torsional stiffness is very soft and makes for a spooky ride when you're trying to blast through bumpy snow. I will say that on piste, it does hold an edge fairly well but the lack of real overall stiffness has this chattering on anything than perfect corduroy. There is some pop to it but it's not what I'd expect from a board that's supposed to be ridden fast and hard. This board is meant for those who love a noodle in the park.

Where is the size chart???

How can this honestly be a board manufacturers website without all the size details? Without the waist width, effective edge, sidecut radius, rider weight range, etc? There is no way we can make an educated purchase here, please fix this. Thankfully most of your retailers post this information so that they can sell your boards.

Does what it says on the tin!

Go fast, turn less & enjoy the run out! This board is one of the most damp riding boards that I've had from Salomon. Helps to quiet down the chunder or a wild run out. Hyped that for a "charger" style board, still has a smooth carve when back on the groomer. Also a sleeper board for faster/bigger bank slalom races!
