[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another fabulous coat from Finisterre, looks stylish and is warm, in winter it’s great as an extra under layer but I feel it will be perfect for Spring and Autumn when you need a bit of warmth but not a full on padded coat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the quality of the coat - beautifully finished and lovely material. Many coats are just too long for me so this is perfect. Well sized and comfortable to wear. Only odd thing is the fastenings are on the wrong side - men’s. Not a huge problem but worth noting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delightful coat. Gorgeous colour. Choose a size lower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Lapwing coat. I still love my Raven Black as it goes with so many things but decided to buy it in blue too. I'm not disappointed. All the positives - lightweight, warm, doesn't crease so great for travelling, stylish because it's not bulky and a lovely colour shade - are here again. Couldn't be happier with this coat. Hope for more colours in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it hard to chose between the Lapwing jacket and coat but went for the coat as I have other shorter jackets. It's not too padded so it adds warmth without bulk and has nice clean lines. I live in the north of the UK but the cold doesn't bother me much so it's a winter coat for me, In a colder climate, or if you feel the cold, it's probably best for spring and autumn. My usual size had room for a jumper or thin fleece underneath so it's great for layering too.
I was unimpressed by the Lapwing coat. I ordered a size down as other reviews said it ran large. While it fit well enough me in the shoulders it was huge overall, and the shape was very unflattering. The lower 2/3rds seemed to be 3 sizes larger than the top portion. I can’t imagine it keeping anyone very warm as cold air would be coming in from the bottom. Needless to say I returned it and got a more flattering parka.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3/4 length, blue, collared, padded coat .Warm but really light to wear .Just that bit smarter than an outdoor jacket, so great to pop on for a lunch with friends or walk round town. Very comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this coat. It’s warm, stylish and comfortable . It’s quite baggy for size 10 so bear in mind if you don’t like baggy clothes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that it is matt, a lovely blue, has poppers not a zip, and has no hood. Dislike the shallow pockets and no inner pocket- and that it fastens to the right like a man’s coat ( tho I’ll get used to it!). It is warm and light, and feels smart.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is simply beautiful. I wore it recently on a rather cold January day on the Yorkshire moors. It is extremely lightweight, but fantastically warm. A winning combination. It’s an excellent colour. I only wish for more pockets and maybe some with zip closure.
