[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket in a very windy day down in Cornwall, birthplace of Finisterre and so glad that I did, as I haven't taken it off since. It is lightweight but keeps you warm and away from the elements. Goes pretty much all my smart casual outfits. So five stars from me. I am usually size 6 but the shop only had size 8, so it is a little oversize, but I don't mind as I can then layer it on jumpers and worn it over my denim jacket too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neat fit, with room in sleeves and body to layer over lightweight jumper/sweatshirt. Good length at 5he back. Nice to have insulated jacket that isn’t too bulky. Lovely colour. Looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am very pleased with this jacket though it has been to hot to wear it out yet . It fits well and great to go under my Finisterre waterproof .I got a lager than my usual size 14 to ensure I can have a jumper underneath as well.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love this jacket - the collar and snaps give it a more unique look, and the deep pinkish brown colour is gorgeous. I found sizing tricky though - I am usually a US4-6 and originally bought a US8 it was massively oversized. Returned for one size down (US6) and it fits but it’s on the edge of being too small. With a mid weight sweater underneath it is quite snug. I’m shocked at the difference between the sizes - there must be 2-3” difference in arm length to between the US6 and the US8. Overall love the jacket but wish I could find a slightly better fit.
I love this coat. Just the right weight for a cool day (but not a cold day). I wear this coat daily over a light wool sweater for my walks on the beach. It has been great from 30-50F, even with light to moderate breezes. It is a little boxy in the torso, but hits at the hip and is really flattering on my 5’6”, 124# frame. I ordered a medium.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket in the rust colour and wore it and wore it. Its light to wear but warm and the short style looks good with wider trousers/jeans. I liked it so much bought a second jacket in the sale. I am 'full chested' and size 14/16, the medium fitted really well without pulling across the chest when zipped up. Have had many positive comments with people asking what the make was. Love that the material has a cotton finish rather than shiny. Great buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pink lapwing gilet size 6 that I wear all the time so have wanted a lapwing jacket for a while. Other than its functionality the little collar is very stylish! The 6 jacket was too tight under the arms but the 8 is perfect, roomy but good for autumn and space for a thick jumper as it gets colder. I have the jacket in blue and am not sure of the colour as yet but remember I was the same about the pink of the gilet and have grown to love it. As usual with Finisterre the jacket is well made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. It's well tailored to fit a woman's torso and looks very sharp. The pockets are deep, which feels great, and it's incredibly water resistant! I want to buy the same jacket in Green when it's back in stock. I am 5'5" and weigh 133-134lbs, and have an athletic lean builld with broad back and shoulders. The U.S. size 4 fits very well with only a long sleeve or sweater underneath or, I can even wear it over another thin insulated zip up jacket (Cotopaxi hoody). It's very versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stylish, versatile and dependable, a jacket built for the elements and for the everyday errands. It handles wind and light rain effortlessly, with a well-cut fit that feels protective without being bulky. The fabric is lightweight but reassuringly durable, and the details are thoughtfully done, with practical pockets, and high quality snap closures. What really stands out is how easy it is to wear. It layers well, moves with you and the colour is a dream.
