Finisterre  Lapwing Insulated Jacket - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new coat! Normally coats like this aren’t very warm, but this is so well made I feel cosy it in it no matter what whether. I love the design and it goes with absolutely everything. Also really appreciate the cut because I’m super short and nothing ever hangs right on me but this is perfectly boxy😍

I love this coat. Just the right weight for a cool day (but not a cold day). I wear this coat daily over a light wool sweater for my walks on the beach. It has been great from 30-50F, even with light to moderate breezes. It is a little boxy in the torso, but hits at the hip and is really flattering on my 5’6”, 124# frame. I ordered a medium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pink lapwing gilet size 6 that I wear all the time so have wanted a lapwing jacket for a while. Other than its functionality the little collar is very stylish! The 6 jacket was too tight under the arms but the 8 is perfect, roomy but good for autumn and space for a thick jumper as it gets colder. I have the jacket in blue and am not sure of the colour as yet but remember I was the same about the pink of the gilet and have grown to love it. As usual with Finisterre the jacket is well made.

I was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t as warm as I had hoped, but it seems to be doing well with a thick thermal underneath and great when I am out being active. I think it would be cosier with a different fabric inside as that is quite cool and slidey. It’s definitely a layer jacket. I’m 5ft6 and got a 10. It was perfect for me and roomier than expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect lightweight jacket. It’s so comfortable, soft and manages to be warm yet very light at the same time. I just traveled to Portugal with it in November and it packs up really small for traveling but also kept me warm on cooler nights and on the windy days. It looks great too! Very happy with my purchase.

Very versatile and great for layering.I went for blue (lovely and rich) in size 12 (I’m usually between 10 and 12 but wanted looser fit) and I’m very happy with how it looks and fits:)

The reason I have only scored it 3 stars is because after only 10 days after I bought it, the stitching of one pocket started undoing so now I’ve got a hole in it. I would have returned it to the store but I live too far away from it. Very disappointed with the quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely jacket .Generous fit. I have the lilac one and love the style. I do wish it buttoned up the regular way . I also could have probably gone down a size but I didn’t want to exchange then have to return again if I felt the smaller size was too snug. I can wear a sweater as well.It packs well too !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Lapwing Jacket. I’m normally size 10, but size 8 Finisterre is a better fit. It’s lightweight, warm and stylish. Ideal for everyday wear. The boxy fit is good for layering underneath. Love this jacket - hence a second purchase in a different colour!
