Features

  • Thermopolymer Starship Core™ features mega-premium, reforestation-certified poplar wood and postconsumer recycled thermopolymer channels
  • Comparable to paulownia in strength to weight ratio, this core retains the poppiness of poplar
  • It achieves a signature feel by adding bonded thermopolymer channels to form an advanced hybrid core
  • Alpine V1 Directional Profile + Flat Kick Tech design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose, transitioning into a Flat Kick tail and nose
  • This allows for tons of pop and stability on hardpack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider's performance in deep snow
  • The camber runs longer in the tail—providing extra power for the ascent or for larger riders drawn to a dedicated wide series
  • New Age Progressive sidecut is a progressive sidecut that incorporates Death Grip™
  • Death Grip™ sidecut incorporates a reverse sidecut arc in the midsection of the board, which provides a point of contact to apply pressure and retain control throughout turns
  • Magic Bean™ resin has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw material; this resin system is poppy, powerful and extremely durable
  • Magic Bean™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing Capita to decrease the wood core thickness
  • Moonshot Omni-Tune™ is an aftermarket high-performance race-base structure that wicks water from your base at a 45° angle, making the board fast
  • Megadrive™ XT base is composed of UHMW polyethylene modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives for lightspeed gliding in a wide range of condition
  • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo

The mega death is a futuristic space missile

Holy smokes, this board is a difference-maker. It’s lightning-fast, has incredible edge hold, is light as a feather, and is truly damp. I would recommend this for high-end intermediate or expert-level riders. The mega death has become my new daily driver. Worth every penny!
