The best reusable bottle water filtration system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this HydroPak Breakaway Plus Bottle Filter System immediately. It's very durable, portable, and easy-to-use. With that being said, you can take it everywhere. It removes 99% of ecoli and parasite cysts and can filter 1500L of water before changing the filter (read the manual for further details). Seriously, I read the entire manual before I even started. It also has a twist top for easy opening. As someone who loves drinking water, this is perfect for me!

Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Breakaway+ 30oz bottle filter system is a super handy water bottle that removes 99.9% of bacteria while on the go hiking, biking etc. The filter cap twists open easily for fast filtration and sipping with a high flow rate giving you fresh potable water. It’s easy to hold and carry or attach and it has a muckguard that protects the valve from dirt and debris.

backlash tap is useless

Seems to do the job for now. But cleaning the filter? Not sure until it gets more usage. The small backflush tap is supposed to be assembled to aid in the filter cleaning process. But your guess is as good as mine as to what it “threads” into. It’s supposed to screw into the nozzle, but most certainly does not. In the diagram on the instructions, it looks to be threaded into a separate bottle as the illustration appears to show that mystery bottle next to the actual filtered bottle in #5. Color me confused. Hoping the filter can be cleansed without use of this useless little piece.

Great for outdoor enthusiasts, but delicate filter may make cleaning and care a bit of a nuisance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle is a great size and the features seem pretty awesome (clean water from just about any source). Overall, the bottle seems pretty durable, but the filter appears to be very delicate. The instructions point out the many ways that it can get damaged and not perform as expected when you need it to most! Cleaning was also not very straightforward and required some special care due to the filter. This is great for an outdoor enthusiast who could benefit from a filtration system when water is scarce, but it might be a bit much for generic use.

QUALITY PRODUCT!

Perfect! I've now used it for both cycling and hiking. For hiking I prefer it to the hydrapak or katadyn befree bags as it it's more durable. The flow rate is just as strong as the befree. The breakaway adds a few more ounces but a lot more assurance. - It does not transfer water as quickly as a befree as it seems to gurgle for air but for purely drinking it's ideal and has excellent flow rate It's perfect for gravel bike rides where you pass streams and springs. I've never carried a filter system cycling until now and it's very nice to be able to grab some fresh cold water and go! Great product! Covers a few different modalities. Highly recommend.

Heavy duty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the pros. It holds 30 oz of water, so you’ll have enough but it’s also not too much. It also has the ability to filter water, which is amazing. It also feels a bit heavy duty, like it would survive a tumble off a cliff. The cons. You can’t take the top off without taking off the cap. I prefer a drinking system that stays together during a refill so I don’t misplace a part. Overall, it would be fantastic for someone who is into outdoor adventures. I think it would be perfect for a serious hiker or overnight camper.

Exactly what I was looking For

On long rides, I use a hydration vest that can only carry 1.5L, plus the bottles I can carry on my bike. During the summer, I can’t really go more than 3 hrs without having a way to refill on water. Getting an even bigger hydration backpack has always been a nonstarter, and using a sawyer filter is impossible to fill and keep riding, which brought me to this bottle. I carry it empty in a jersey pocket at the beginning of my ride and then swap out with a bottle on my bike once I finish it, doing my best to time it with coming on a water source. Luckily most of my water sources are mountain streams with minimal sediment, but the flow rate is great! The twist to open the filter is a little annoying but I appreciate that design seems necessary for proper filter functioning. This bottle is also much easier to fill in shallow streams than narrow-mouth soft flasks, where I’ve had issues with insufficient water pressure to get water in. With this, it’s literally just take off the cap like any bottle and dip into your water source. Worked great in even a 3-inch deep fast moving stream. Plus, if you trust your water source, bottle can work great as a way to dump water to cool off. Best bike purchase I’ve made this year.

Versatile Water Bottle for all Athletes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son plays multiple sports, and in this heat, l worry about him staying hydrated. This water bottle fits on his new mountain bike. He can take fresh water with him wherever his petals take him. It saves me from buying countless plastic bottles of water from the store. He can also use this at football practice. If he runs out of water from home, he can fill it with water fountain water and it filters it. Love this concept.

Filtered water bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice water bottle. I like how I am able to filter out my tap water before drinking making the water extra crisp. Since the bottle is clear I like how I am able to see how much water is left in my bottle. This bottle is also easy to clean and carry since it it great to take when you are going for a run or walk, and especially a hike.

Excellent for outdoor enthusiasts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an outdoor enthusiast, I was excited to receive this from Influenster to try. The bottle is very lightweight so it won't be heavy in a pack. It holds a good amount of water and I love that it makes staying hydrated easy, even when out camping or hiking where clean drinking water may not be readily available.
