Hard to beat it
I swapped this for the fillo elite that I was using before as a backpacking pillow and I’m happy I did. As much as I wanted to go as light as possible I’ve gotten to the point where I need a substantial pillow, and this achieves that feeling while still being as light as possible. As a bonus this is comfortable enough to use car camping too, so it’s one pillow for everything. The bungee cords are useless for me because they just dont hold my puff in a comfortable way (I think a fabric sleeve would work better), and I sleep with my arm under my pillow so they are a little annoying, but it’s no big deal. Great luxury item
Side sleepers rejoice! Neck pain is gone!
Backcountry game changer. I hate inflatable pillows and have just used my fleece as a pillow in the past. The inflatable pillows move too much and just never get to the right level of comfort. This is a game changer for side sleepers! I use my fleece in the bungee cord to bulk it some and then inflate 3/4 of the way. I sleep like a baby now. Folds up and compresses a little larger than an inflatable pillow but the weight and space are worth it to sleep without neck pain!
backcountry game changer
Bringing the comfort of home to the back country. I hate inflatable pillows because they aren’t ever comfortable, move way too much, and are too small for me as a side sleeper. This has changed that entirely. It compresses down very nicely to a little bigger than your standard inflatable pillow, but still manageable in a pack. I use the bungee cord to add my fleece to bulk it more for me as a side sleeper. I now sleep like a baby in the back country!
The Fillo Wide added width equals extra comfort
I love my standard Fillo pillow and decided to try the Fillo Wide. I am a side sleeper and switch sides throughout the night and the Fillo Wide has been great for my sleep on trail. I will use this pillow for shorter hikes where I am not watching my pack weight so closely. Just like the standard Fillo the foam layer makes this pillow stand above all over backpacking pillows.
Pillow for the Backcountry
NEMO Fillo Wide Pillow just what I was looking for. I have trouble sleeping with puny camping pillows because I need my head elevated. I think this is going to be a game changer. Will still need to add some addition padding on the underside but the pillow is designed to add stuff. Well thought out, easy to inflate and deflate.
Great camp pillow
Tested this out the other night, absolutely loved it. ultra comfortable, ultra packable. I value my sleep on the trail; this will go out with me for every trip this summer. almost more comfortable than my actual pillow.
Comfortable pillow
I got this to add extra space for my head for car camping and backpacking. I plan to find a way to strap it to my sleeping pad, because these pillows always find a way to slide around on a pad.
