I highly recommend this pad and any other Nemo inflatable pad. For this pad specifically I would recommend for summer use as the R value isn’t very high. For reference I also have a Quasar sleeping pad that I’ve used quite extensively on motorcycle trips. The sleeping pads are durable and can stand quite a beating the pump sack makes them super easy to fill, which is a big plus I like how easily they fold up and how small of a space they take up. I am using these mainly for car/motorcyle camping and to supplement my truck (GFC) sleeping set up. I have used other companies sleeping pads in the past, but will only buy Nemo from now on. I highly recommend these sleeping pads.
Recently bought this sleeping pad for backpacking and camping trips, mainly for its pillow baffle feature. As a side sleeper, I find most camping pillows are not firm or large enough to comfortably fill the shoulder gap, or slide around too much, so I gave this a try. While it did not look like much of a difference, I was really pleasantly surprised with how much my head was propped up, and never had my pillow slide off in the night. Camped with it for a week thusfar, and I am really happy with how well I've slept, and love how small it packs down. Great product for the price.
not the lightest or warmest out there however I've always had a hard time sleeping in thinner and lighter pads, not the case with this. Also, the pillow baffle is a great touch for side sleeping, the extra inch or so of lift for my head really does make a difference.
Plenty of room and very comfortable for side sleeping. I’m fairly tall at 6’2 and have extra room on my side and back on the long-wide. Construction is great and inflation is easy. Im yet to be disappointed by a Nemo product.
I replaced an older Nemo pad with the Astro. It is easy to inflate, easily packs up into the small stuff sack and most importantly it is very comfortable.
Nemo sleeping pads are spot on, comfortable, light and durable.
Really nice and easy to inflate. Comfortable. Not loud
