This is the jacket. For a rain jacket, this is one of best you are going to find. This is my go to, I’ve taken it on dozens of backpacking trips, I own two of them. Including this one from this year. I’ve been caught in heavy rainstorms, having a good rain jacket is invaluable. I trust this thing completely, it will keep you completely dry no matter what. When it’s 40 degrees outside raining hard, this is the jacket I want. Breathability. This is one of the most breathable jackets you can find, top of its class. 3L Goretex is expensive but there just is no substitute out there right now. Massive vents under the arms. It’s rugged and breathable. It’s a good value for what it is vs. other comparable jackets from other brands. The combination of breathability, reliability, ruggedness, dependability are what make this jacket great.
Product was not the same color as advertised. Shell material seems darker and zipper pulls and chest lettering are gray instead of light blue.
