Woof  BullySafe Dog Toy

This item is SOLID! Very well designed and heavy. The only thing that might be a good feature would be to have the 'tip' of the cranking mechanism have a little something to grip the bully stick. But so far I've not had any problems cranking it down really tight on the stick and it never moved. My puppy eats them quickly, so I don't leave the room. Just took it away from her when she'd gotten short & I was afraid that she'd pull it out or break it off somehow. She's swallowed a few pieces before we got this BullySafe and I prayed and prayed and watched her stools. Thankfully no ER visits and hoping none in the future.....she eats everything!

The idea of this is great, but it did NOT work for our pup. We tighten this thing as tight as we possibly can every single time, but our 125lb dog is able to pull the bully stick out every time. We have to watch him like a hawk and put the bully stick back in once he gets it out (because he is able to get it out almost every time). I really love the idea behind this product and we have purchased other things from this brand that we LOVE. Unfortunately, we didn’t have good luck with the BullySafe. Just be careful if you have a really strong dog, a super chewer, or a dog that is extremely determined because they may also be able to get the bully stick out of it.

Works great to secure the end of a bully stick or other chew that can be eaten down to a dangerous size. I was worried my more aggressive chewer might chew the plastic, but it’s dense and all of the dogs have just focused on the chew inside. Only downside is that hard plastic is also potentially damaging to floors. A thick rubber coating on part of it to help with shock absorption would be great! My greyhound puppy likes to toss his chews around a bit in excitement, and the holder then becomes a weapon. It’s also quite loud on the floor when they drop it in general. A rubber coated end piece, or even some ridges or circles of rubber strategically placed would eliminate that problem!

I LOVE this Bully Safe! I had previously tried a cheaper holder from a local store, but my pup chewed through the holder part after using it only three times. This Bully Safe is definitely safer. It is easy to use, and it really holds on to the bully stick. Once the stick is gone, he tries chewing on the holder, but quickly gives up. I've attached a picture of the holder's current condition after eight bully sticks. You can see that he has left some marks, but he has not damaged it at all and it doesn't have any sharp shards. This holder with a bully stick in it gives me 30 minutes of peace and quiet with no worrying. With a nine-month-old Border Collie, that is a pretty big deal!!

I don't leave many reviews but the BullySafe has been the best toy for my German shorthaired pointer! He's 6 months old and loves to chew everything, unfortunately that means he goes through toys quickly and I have to avoid plush toys or anything with stuffing. I always worried about the big pieces of bully stick that Baja would eat. He was swallowing the ends when there was still a quarter left of the 6" bully. Now I do not have to worry about that as long as I have the BullySafe screwed in tight, and he finds it more interesting to chew the bully sticks. I think it's because it helps him keep a strong hold on it, as opposed to chewing normally and it falling out of his mouth all the time.

My puppy is 6 months old and just under 45lbs and he has chewed chunks out of the BullySafe already. Also, using the 12" long bully sticks purchased here, which are the same thickness if not a bit thinner than the 6" ones I bought once accidentally, he just breaks it off at the bottom to get a good 5" chunk completely detached from the product. It isn't wide enough to hold say... the braided ones or anything like that either. As we also keep needing to sand and clip off chunks of the dark green part from him biting into it I don't consider this safe for an aggressive chewer like my dog anymore.

I was searching for a safe way to give my turbo chewer Ozzy a chance to enjoy his favorite treat. As a special needs pup, I am always searching for ways to enrich his life and Woof delivered. Not only does Bully Safe perform exactly as described- really holds bully sticks securely, preventing Ozzy from swallowing too big a piece, the design makes it easy to hold onto when Ozzy is finished. No touching those slimy bully stick ends. Ozzy also loves his Woof Pupsicle . It provides daily enrichment and keeps him busy for a solid 20-25 min. Both are fantastic products, highly recommend them!

I have tried several other bully stick holders and have had middling success with them. This one tops them all because it allows me to use it with a variety of bully sticks (thin to thick, round to flat, etc.). My dog had a horrible habit of swallowing the last 4" of his bully sticks and I had to start holding them while he chewed them because that was really dangerous (possible blockage and emergency surgery waiting to happen). This holder is easy to use and secure! Now I can actually do things around the house while my dog safely enjoys his bully stick! Highly recommend :)

I was absolutely thrilled to be given the Bullysafe as a gift for my dog by a friend. I have always been concerned with my dog swallowing the end of a treat and having it lead to an airway or GI problem. This product is amazing and would be perfect for most dog. Unless you own a Great Dane - he will swallow the device in whole while trying to get that last tiny piece out of it. Thankfully it did not cause an airway problem and he brought it straight back up. But, it was absolutely terrifying. Please put a warning on the product that it shouldnt be used in giant breeds.

I got the bundles and LOVE THEM! They are AMAZING! I got them for my 10 year old Red Fawn Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog named Delilah, my 4 year old grand dog girl Pit Bull/German and American shepherd Chai and my 12 week old grand dog boy Labrador/Rottweiler Loki and the balls, dental chews and bully holder are so incredible and definitely help with anxiety, separation anxiety and a teething puppy. I highly recommend and will be buying refills and making my own recipes for the fur babies as they love everything. Even my heeler as Delilah is very picky and loves it all.
