Patagonia  Recycled Down Sweater Parka - Women's

This Patagonia parka was very disappointing. The fit was totally off kilter from most other Patagonia women's clothing I own. I am 5'3" and 112 pounds; and in most Patagonia outer or mid layers, I wear a size S (e.g. Nano-air hoody, Nano puff jacket, Down With It Parka). However, I read in various reviews that the Down Sweater Parka runs big. So I ordered an XS. Unfortunately, the XS was huge on me and REI at least did not offer an XXS. I was looking for a lightweight down parka for more moderate fall/winter weather (20-40 F) but this definitely would not work for me even with my heaviest layers underneath. So I returned it.

It’s perfect! Love the fit and lightness. I am 5’3, 118 and between xs and small. I got the parka in xs and it fits perfectly, allowing room for thick sweater, not bulky, nice modern shape. Hope it will be good for travel!

I really like this long down sweater, but I thought it would be warmer. I bought a Men’s down sweater for my guy at Christmas, and it is much warmer. I’ll keep it and use it more like a robe instead of a jacket.

Boxy fit and received damaged. The coat had a boxy fit in the shoulders, but was narrow at the bottom, making it hard to move. I would’ve considered keeping it except I received it with a hole in the hood that look like it might’ve snagged on something somewhere.

As described except for sizing. Seems to run quite large and is not fitted so I sized down one size. Can’t attest to warmth at this point. It is quite long which is suitable for my needs but may be an issue for shorter individuals,

I am 5'7 and weigh 155 pounds. I ordered a small as the sizing down recommendations and it fits perfectly.
