JaPow Bound
I enjoyed this jacket on a recent back country 6 day adventure in the Hakuba Valley of Japan. This jacket does everything it says! As you can imagine, the snow was everywhere and deep and this kept me dry on the climb as well as on the descent. I was fortunate to live in Jackson, Wyoming when this company was born, and owned early product. Super jazzed to be in my 60's looking great and wearing STIO STILL!!!!
Environ Jacket
I recently wore this for 5 days of skiing in Big Sky with variable weather during the week. The weather was warm, then it rained, then the temps dropped into the teens. This jacket fit my needs every day. I consider this a shell rather than a jacket. It's really great on its own but in colder weather, it's perfect for layering. The armpit zips help ventilate when it warms up. I received many compliments on the color. I loved the wrist pocket to hold my pass and chapstick. I bought a medium to make layering more versatile and comfortable although I probably could have worn a small.
Love this shell!
Looks great and does a great job at stopping the wind. It is thinner than I thought it would be so I had to really layer when skiing in 12 degree weather, but it still looked great on and not bulky with the added layers underneath. Great jacket and the zippers are high quality.
Great jacket
The fit and the function are both perfect!
The Best Ski Kit!
Picked up the full Environ kit today with petite bibs. Haven’t skied in it yet, but the fit is perfect! I’m in between an xs and a small and the small fit just right. Enough room for layers but not too big. Can’t wait to hit the slopes, material feels like it will be very waterproof.
Whatta Jacket!
I bought this for down hill skiing and skinning. Great coat… it has all the pockets in just the right spots for pass, phone, credit card/cash, and lift snacks. Love the color and fit. I live in the northeast and sized up to give room for a few extra layers in frigid days. Super happy with this purchase!
love this tech shell
used this jacket for my first ski trip when the weather was quite warm. I was inbetween the M and the L and decided on the L to have more room around my hips and I'm glad I did. it will work well if I have to add layers underneath. I loved being able to take the hood off. 10/10 recommend
New and improved
The latest version of this jacket which is solid and so waterproof has a ski pass pocket on the sleeve, something that was missing from the older model. I lost weight and needed a smaller size. I don’t like the new color quite as well but otherwise all great.
Stio Environ Jacket fit
This is my second Environ Jacket; the first one I loved. The season is over so I haven’t used this one yet. The construction is great except for the velcro on the sleeves. The material seems stiffer but overall I will like this jacket.
Perfect shell
This is my second Environ Jacket. With a mid layer underneath, it’s perfect for any conditions. Very comfortable, flattering fit. As one would expect from Stio, it’s extremely well made. Highly recommended.
