So, so soft!!!
The tank fits beautifully and is SO, SO soft!!! I usually wear an extra small in other brands, but wear a small in the prana tops. The neck line is a little loose, even after washing, but the material is just so comfortable….that part I can overlook. Sadly, I’m disappointed in the leggings and should have taken heed to one of the reviews…they are too long, as in they bunch up and are a little tight in the calves. I’ll keep them, as to avoid the return fee, but they are not the same fit I get from all of my other wonderful prana leggings. The tank I absolutely LOVE, so I thought I’d get the bottoms to match. Poor choice, I guess, on my part.
Too short, nice material
I have been looking for a built-in bra top to replace my old Phoebe tanks (which Prana unfortunately discontinued). The material is similar: stretchy, comfortable, not overly clingy and the bra top works well for very small breasts. The color palette this spring is set for warm skin tones while I am a cool skin tone and none of the colors look good on me. The length is odd, not quite a crop but not long enough to stay down over my hips. The online photos are deceiving, appearing longer than in actuality. The tank needs to be 1 to 2 inches longer and more color options. For reference: 5'2", 128 lbs, AA cup, Muscular
Ultimately unwearable
Disappointing. The fabric is lovely. But the photos do not show the gathering under the arms that puffs out and creates a prominent large fold of fabric. I thought the first might be a manufacturing defect so tried a second, but it was the same. Maybe alright for a large cup size??? Beautiful yellow color. So disappointing.
I wanted to love this tank.
I was eager to try the new Heavana tank. I am a longtime Prana customer. I have 7 Beksa tanks and 4 pair of leggings. But I was sorely disappointed in the Heavana. The Heavana tank was not flattering. It was fairly short in the torso and too snug in the bust area. Sadly, I returned it for an exchange. But the Beksa tanks that I love so much are no longer available (I already have 2 black Beksa's.) I am SO disappointed. There wasn't anything that I saw for an exchange. PLEASE BRING BACK THE BEKSA LINE! Not everyone is comfortable wearing a cropped or short tank top.
Not for shorter people
Bought this top in Black Heather size S. Washed cold, Hung up to dry and removed "modesty pads" before wearing. I am 5'4" 32B, 27" waist. The built in bra is a little too tight, and the outer tank is a little too big so it was kind of awkward. I wore this to teach 7 Pilates classes plus practiced a 90 minute Hot Hatha Yoga class after work wearing this top. I found myself trying "pull the front up" throughout the work day and while practicing Hot Yoga. Wore with Darkest Night Spacedye High Waisted tights & The Black Heather color looks like dark grey comparatively. I will tie some elastic around the back of the racerback straps to adjust the straps for my small frame. This top will fit taller people much better.
Perfect for my Lagree Pilates class!
So soft and comfortable! Loved the fit and feel of this material.
I really loved the fabric and color of this tank but the fit didn't work for me. It was too short in length, it definitely didn't look like the photos. Also, I felt like the chest was too low and revealing. If I'd kept this, I would need to wear a sports bra under it. I am 5'7", 148 lbs and ordered my usual size, a medium. I also ordered a large for comparison and the chest was too big and gapping. I think if the chest has more coverage and maybe 2-3" were added to the bottom, I would have loved it.
Weird cut
This tank is soft and thick and a pretty color, but I had to return it. It gapped really badly right at the armpit and kind of flared out to the side there. I'm not big chested at all, so maybe it would work for someone with a bigger bust. It fit everywhere else, so there's no way I could've sized down. It's strange because I bought the tank dress in the same line and the top of it fit perfectly. Maybe I happened to get a flawed one. For context I'm 5'9", 132, slim athletic build.
Good enough but I need to make alterations
Just tried it on and I can tell it’s a very high quality top. There’s a nice, small embroidered “Prana” on the back where the halter meets the body. I agree with other small-chested reviewers who said the top was too loose. My bust is 80cm, UB 70 cm, waist 70cm (athletic rectangle) and the top gapes if I draw my shoulders in. Was hoping to wear this for dressage training and rock climbing but I will need to finagle a way to make the top tighter. I think if you have a similar waist measurement and a B cup chest you’ll be very happy with this in a size small. Also, I have a shorter torso and the hem hits about 6cm below my belly button which is exactly what I was going for. I have no bunching issues in the pit like others do but tbh that’s just a result of a seamstress pulling the fabric when they’re sewing it, so it’s probably hit or miss.
Saggy and oversized around bust. Not for A cups!
I bought this in a medium. I am a true medium, I can wear a small (36AA) but I have broad shoulders and usually buy medium or even a large top. This is super soft and fits well, *except* across the front/bust. It sags wide open on the arm holes and on bust. It feels like my older sister with a D cup wore it and stretched it waaay out. I’ve never ever had an arm hole saggy on my swimmers frame, but this is unwearable!
