REI has some foul shipping policies
More a comment on some really foul REI policies - I ordered the helmet in 3 January and got an email within a few days with tracking information. Also in the email was a cute little lie that the helmet was ready to be shipped and awaiting USPS pickup. Subsequent updates showed the anticipated ship date pushed out further and further. I finally contacted customer service in late January after enough lies on the tracking update and several exchanges with customer service - when I learned they had been lying the while time and the helmet anticipated arrival on 8 February was in fact out of stock and too ducking bad for me
