I purchased this jacket at the beginning of the 24/25 season. It’s well insulated, warm, comfortable and had no problems with the durability. I’ve had a couple of Macai jackets in the past and this Fissile does everything the Macai does but warmer but that does come at the cost of additional weight and bulk, but as a piste specific jacket I don’t think that’s an issue. The only issue I have is the cuff size. I like to have the cuff of my glove inside of the sleeve to stop snow and water running down the sleeve into the glove (as pictured in the sales literature). The only way you can do this is by putting jacket on after the gloves. Fine until you need to take your gloves off. It would be nice if there was a 4 inch zip at the bottom of the cuff.
This my first warmest most durable winter jacket. Hand pockets are very warm. 2 dump pocket are perfect for my Large size gloves. The hood is good, only take it of during snowboarding. I am using the hood Only for commuting to cover my whole face, it's adjustable. The quality is very well made. The size I bought is Medium and Im 5'11, it perfectly fits.
I was deciding between this and the Macai jacket, and I’m really glad I chose this one. The Macai looked a bit too much like ski/snowboard wear for my taste, but this jacket has a clean, sleek design and is perfect for commuting or wearing around the city. I’m 180 cm and 70 kg, and the Medium fits perfectly—not too tight, just right. Highly recommended.
I find this product durable, keeps me warm and comfortable in extremely cold weather, making it my top choice for the 72nd Quebec Winter Carnival. I look forward to using it and suggest that Arc'teryx consider producing additional hoods designed for everyday use since it is retractable.
Jacket is very warm but the hood, oversized to accommodate a helmet, is difficult to adjust if you’re not wearing one. I like the jacket but the hood issue is a negative.
I love this jacket , only thing I would love to see, that be a massive improvement would be more insulation in the hood, then it would be perfect.
Super nice jacket. My first ever arc’teryx ski jacket and honestly the best I’ve had. Super warm and quality highly recommend!
Extremely warm and comfortable. I really enjoy the feeling and the insulation without being to heavy.
Love it! Meets all my expectations for a jacket to tackle the cold temperatures.
